There are no routines that will work in every single situation.

There are no shortcuts in meeting women.

Really great podcast. I would not call the secret to success hard work, though. Because hard work sounds like 'no fun'. Anything that is no fun is doomed to fail. People achieve things because there is something inside of them that drives them forward. To them, it's never hard work. You never become good at stuff that you don't really love. That, to me, is the secret of success. Because if you really love to learn something, there are no obstacles. You feel like a dry sponge that soaks up the water. That is why successful people almost always exude such a great energy. They are not working hard, they just do what they love. That is also why really successful people are never negative, or angry. Just think about your hobbies, do they feel like work to you ? Do you care if you spend 128 hours retouching that photograph (just to use an example) ? You don't...

Luck is what happens when opportunity meets preparation... Can't remember who said that but I keep that thought in my mind constantly. Working hard makes a difference. I'm not 100% into my current job, but I do the best I can every day. I've started volunteering for extra duties. I get no extra pay, but I get the opportunity to prove myself which is more valuable. I've recently interviewed for a supervisor position in a new facility, and I had a strong interview because I've worked to get better at putting together a resume and I've had more interview experience. I'm excited as I wait to hear back, this is potentially going to be a big step up for me. If I had just sat on my hands because I felt I had a good enough shot at being a supervisor, that's shooting yourself in the foot. It's good to have a vision, then you have wake up, observe the environment and figure out what has to happen to get you there, and then you gotta do the work to get there.
