Sinatra Own The RoomRemember Frank Sinatra’s song, “My Way”?

(Excerpt)

“Regrets, I’ve had a few. But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway. And more, much more than this, I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I’m sure you knew. When I bit off more than I could chew. But through it all, when there was doubt, I ate it up and spit it out.

I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way”

What an amazing song. About a man who did it “my way.”

Isn’t that how you want to live your life? Don’t you want to live life the way YOU want, rather than the way others dictate to you?

That’s why it still amuses me to this day when guys study pick-up lines and techniques. They read all they can to find out about the “Wolf of Wall Street” method, or the Panther Technique. Life is all about creating your own way to do things. Sure, take what you learn from others, but don’t follow blindly like a parrot. Put your own spin on things. Live life by your rules and stop trying to please other people all the time.

Take the time to figure out who YOU are as a man. Work out who you want to be, and how you want to spend the rest of your life.

Sinatra had it right all those years ago. Life is all about doing things your way. Life is about deciding what you want, and doing whatever you can to get there. Don’t be a sheep. Model others, but don’t flat out copy. You need to be your own man in life, or you’re nothing more than a fraud. So let’s talk today. What is “your way?” What do you want from life? What makes YOU different? What defines YOU as a man?

And for all the women reading the blog today, get involved too. What defines you as a woman? What makes you different to all the other women us men run into out there? Let’s get into this today and really kick ass. I want to get to know how you do it “my way.” And obviously I mean YOUR way not MY way for all the grammar police out there!
