How do you handle your stress and anger?

Me, I work out when I’m pissed off.

But I find, when I’m pissed off, I am such an emotional person that the physical exercise never really gets rid of the emotional distraught.

Whenever I’m stressed or angry, it always hits me the most in the early morning when I wake up. Sometimes 6:00am, I’ll be laying in bed thinking about what’s bothering me. Or right before I go to sleep, I’ll start having that internal dialog.

That dialog when you’re talking to yourself? Or at least, I talk to myself. Who doesn’t talk to themselves?

But that internal dialog that we all seem to have, when it comes down to what we’re feeling. My stress will hit me really hard at night. I’ll have trouble falling asleep at night because I don’t like to go to sleep angry. When I’m stressed, I tend to get angry. I tender to get frustrated.

To me, I know when I shut down, I can feel myself shutting down. I tend to sleep a lot.

I’ve been stressed lately. And I went to bed the other night at 10:45.

And couldn’t get out of bet until 9:00.

That’s not like me at all.

Usually, I like to go to bed around 12:00 and get up at 8:00.

But, even when I got out of bed at 9:00, I’ve noticed lately that I don’t want to get out of bed at all. I could just stay in bed all day long. It’s comfortable. It’s cozy.

To me, when I get stressed out, I like to watch movies. I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately or TV shows.

I just recently got into West World. That’s a really really good show. I’ve got to tell you. First time I watched it, I didn’t get into the first 10 minutes. So I put it down. But I’ve been reading so many reviews on it. And so many people have been raving about it, I decided to give it another shot.

It’s a great show. Wow, it is so really good. I’m looking forward to watching the next nine episodes.

I watch movies and get lost in movies. I’ll read. But reading takes more concentration that I don’t have because I’m a highly emotional person. So when something is bothering me, reading is not that great. I like to talk when I’m stressed out. I’ve got my great group of friends. But even after a while, talking to them, I almost don’t want to be Debby Downer anymore to them.

What do you guys do when you’re stressed out? I’d love to hear, get some feedback. It’d be wonderful to talk about something like this because all of us get stressed. And it’s about our life. We all get angry at times in life. So it’ll be interesting to kind of support one another and kind of go through and read about what each person kind of goes through, the process and how they deal with their own stress and maybe some of you are actually going through some stress too. And we can come up with some solutions for all of you. Put your comments down below.
