Are you naked enough to date?

No, not physically. (Please put your clothes back on.)

Those people SHOULD have talked to David all day about dating. If Dale Earnhardt offered to teach you how to drive, you wouldn't kick him out after 5 minutes. Slightly off topic, does anyone have any tips on asking for a raise and being paid mileage? I was told at the start of my job that my barely-above-minimum wage pay was temporary, but I haven't heard anything since I started. I also drive a good bit most days, and I can't be spending $10/day on gas when I only make $50 or so.

Collin, About the driving, is it while you're on the job, or is it your commute to and from work? I believe you're required to be paid per mile (or given a company car to use), if you're driving while on the job. About the raise, no good tips, except that there's no harm in asking politely once-in-a-while. How long has it been since you started?

Great points David, that really resonates with me. Pastor, resume shopping, and letting looks override my mind with an illusion of the woman i see rather than analyzing how she really makes me feel. Collin, The IRS annually establishes the reimbursement rate for mileage, i think it is 55.5 cents per mile in 2012. Salary negotiation, first do some research with salary.com and glassdoor.com to get a salary range for your position at your company and competitors in your geography. Your salary is a reflection of the value you provide to your employer rather than how much money you need to cover your personal expenses. Since you desire a higher salary you have to show you can deliver higher value to your employer. You can set goals with your boss (either weekly, quarterly,semi-annual or annual goals), develop a plan how to achieve those goals and agree on salary raises for meeting those goals and also salary raises for exceeding those goals.

Wow,that was short.I don't think that really resonated with the people at that show.They probably would have had the authors of "The Rules" or He's Just Not That Into You on longer.At least there are people out there that have and are been impacted by Naked!

@collin,, speaking of mileage,, the company I've worked for the last 12 years, is union, and our contract is up Friday. They want to take our hourly pay away, and our overtime away, and pay us mileage. That will cut our pay by over 2/3. They want to cut us from making 65-70K / year to around 25K/year, for the same job. Basically, they are just trying to force a strike, so they can kick the union out. So, I'm losing my job in the next few days or so. Anyone wanna buy a 2010 SS Camaro??? :(

I loved the ideal being vulnerable and naked. I'm glad you are going out there to promote your book. Since reading the book and doing the exercises, I come to realize I didn't make myself available before. Plus, it allow me to explore other areas of my life. To look at areas of repeated bad patterns. I was happy I didn't spend to much time rehashing my last date and feel no ill will towards him. I went to the birthday party and had a wonderful time. I ran into one of my dancing partner. He is sweet and he loves to dance. I admit I have always had little crush on him and felt he was out of my league. After the party, he invited to go out for breakfast. I decided to go. He knew about the last guy I dated. He asked how I was doing. I said I was doing fine. We were both laughing and telling jokes. Then our conversation change. He looked at me and said how about giving me a chance. Wow! Now I'm remember the last podcast. I said Yes.
