Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of them all?  The answer is very simple.  The answer is you.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of them all?  The answer is you.  I’m going to say it one more time.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of them all?  The answer is you.

But if you don’t truly believe that, if you don’t truly believe that you are the fairest one of them all, if you don’t truly love yourself.

We’re talking mind/body/soul/spirit.

Nobody else can love you back.

If you’ve got body issues and you don’t love your body, no one else is going to love it back.  Because mirror-mirror reflects back at the other person.  You see, in life, we need to love ourselves.  There’s an exercise that I have used with many clients.

It’s an exercise that I wrote about in my book Naked.  It’s the mirror mirror exercise.  It’s an exercise that is definitely one that will reveal a lot about who you are.

This is what I want you to do if you dare.

I want you to get undressed and I want you to talk with to your bathroom where there is a full length mirror.  I want you to look at your body from head to toe.

I want you to look at your body from front to back, from side to side.  What do you see?

What do you see when you look at your body?

Now, it takes a lot here and you need to be honest, do you like what you see?

Do you love what you see?

Or are you really not happy on what you see.

I want you to look at everything; your stomach, your chest, your arms, your legs, your butt, I want you to look at your entire body.

I want you to ask yourself this question –

When you stare at your body, do you get turned on by your body?

Do you get sexually turned on by your body?

Because if you don’t get turned on by your body when you look at it, nobody else will.  Because mirror-mirror on the wall reflects back at everybody else.  If you don’t think you’re the fairest one of them all, what happens is that your reflection back is a reflection of insecurity.

When it comes down to getting naked, getting intimate, shedding the clothes, you’re not 100% there because you’re self conscious because you can’t turn yourself on.

This is an exercise that will make you feel very uncomfortable, but it will be very revealing on what you need to work on.  It’s something that I recommend to my clients every single day.

Every day, I want you to look directly at yourself and I want you to ask yourself that question-
“Are you turned on?”
Until the answer is a very positive:

“Fuck yes.”

Until then, you’re going to have relationships that you’re not fully present for.  If you’re not fully present for a relationship, the relationship can’t grow the way it needs to grow because you need to grow on your own.

It’s up to you to decide how you want your life to look like.  Mirror mirror on the wall, the most revealing side of them all.
