I want to ask you a serious question right now. Do you appreciate your life?
Do you appreciate every little aspect of your life?
Do you appreciate the partner you’re with?
Do you appreciate the car that you drive?
Do you appreciate your friends?
Do you appreciate your family?
Do you appreciate being able to wake up every single morning and see the sun rise?
Do you appreciate your life?
The key to happiness in life is to be in gratitude and appreciation.
I love my life. I really do. I’m dictating this on a Friday afternoon and I’m thinking to myself life is a pretty fucking amazing gift. It’s a gift to me that just keeps on giving every single day.
As I’m writing this, I’m writing this in some of the worst traffic I’ve sat in for quite some time.
But I’m still appreciative of the beauty of life. I’m looking around me as I’m dictating this blog and I’m seeing the palm trees.
I’m looking at the ocean to my left and the hills to my right. I’m looking at the people in the other cars and I’m thinking to myself, I would really appreciate if all of you would drive a little faster to get through the lights.
Life is about being in appreciation.
Does this mean that you love, like everything about your life, and there aren’t things that need to be improved? No. There’s always going to be things that need to be improved in our lives, that’s what life is all about. We’re constantly striving to improve ourselves.
Constantly striving to make ourselves better people.
Well, at least my readers are.
We’re constantly striving to understand ourselves better.
To have better relationships to go deeper, and to have better friendships.
Some of us are striving to make more money.
But the only way you’re going to get all that you want out of life is to appreciate what you already have. It’s so important to appreciate all the little things in life and thank the universe for all the little things that you have in life.
The reason for this is because most people — well, I’m not going to say most, because I don’t like to generalize — but a lot of people are always wanting more or comparing themselves to other people. They’re stuck in this spiral of consistently comparing themselves to other people, and they never seem to get anywhere.
The key to success in life is to really appreciate everything in your life…
…the people, the experiences you’ve had, the relationships that you’ve had.
You need to look at your life as a total success. Sure, there’s stories that you can rewrite, absolutely. Are there things that you wish that you did differently, absolutely. But you chose everything that happened to you in your life, and everything that happened to your life, happened to your soul, your being, for a reason. Just appreciate it.
Appreciate everything about your life. The more you appreciate and the more gratitude you get, the better your life is going to be. The more amazing things are going to happen to you. The more love you’re going to have.
The more money that’s going to flow into your life.
The more friends.
Seek abundance. Appreciate what you have and watch how your life will change.
