Hi David, I am a woman posting here because I want a mans take on this. I have been dating a man for 15 months and we are very much in love. I accidently saw some dirty pics of his ex-GF on his computer and he has recently been looking at them. I don't know what to think. I gently confronted him about it and he was very apologetic, got rid of them without me asking and said he didn`t know why he kept them and they had no feelings attached - simply his porn. Should I be upset. It made me feel like I didn`t do it for him and it really hurt Help!

hi medic girl, a simple fact about men, they may do stupid things, they may do odd bizarre things, they may look like pigs, but the fact is that many times they feel insecure. they don't like losing something, like yourself for example, or they want to believe they've not lost their ex. what you should do in these situations is let him know you're there for him and now is real, not the past and not the future. that they don't need to worry again about 'maybe i haven't found the one yet.' they just don't want to experience losing again.

your welcom medic girl. just keep existing in his world, and just be patient. there's also another fact that maybe he himself doesn't know why he's looking at them. you can help both you and him by being honest, ask him why he's doing that, what is he looking for and how can YOU help him have it. also let him know that none of you should be afraid of the answers you find. As a couple sometimes you help each other to find answers together, answers that can't easily be found or be courageous enough to face them alone, but that's why you're there for him, to work as a team against anything that bother or worry both of you in life. after all we all want to be understood, and no matter what it is and will be, you have each other, you're pals, you're not alone, you are strong together.

Hey Medic Girl Reality Men are sexual beings and find just being with one girl diffcult and will feel the need to check out and look at other attractive women. If your boyfirend is with you then it because he likes you and loves Im sure. For him looking at his ex nude photos are about his remembering his past conquests. Hi Dan, thank you so much. You have confirmed what my brother told me about men. I actually did gently confront my BF about the pics and he apologized for hurting me and destroyed them. He said he was ashamed he had them and said he didn't know why. He said he felt relieved they were now gone. He told me he loves me and I totally satisfy him sexually. He thanked me for being honest with him. He said they were his porn and he had justified to himself keeping them. Merry Christmas

Awesome podcast, I used to tell guys never let a woman shake you, and picture a woman as a man, but I think I like your take about crusty ass, and hidden grossness. It's difficult for me to just go up to women, so bumping into a woman is definitely a cool thing like you pointed out about romantic comedies. I used to be social, but different place, different time. i want to meet women, but I can't just meet a woman offline, and ask her if she has std's that kills the mood, but if you do it online there's no mood to really kill, and you're not risking as much as in person, where in person it kills any sexual mood, it's a gross thing to think about especially if she has one. 80% of all u.s. citizens have herpes, and the same for hpv, and I just don't want to be a statistic, but on the other hand I want casual hookups. I have no money, so I can't get onto a paying date sex site. Anyways you're the man keep putting the good news, and confidence out there for us guys trying to meet more women, thank you
