You want to know why I hate routine?

Because doing the same thing every day is like death.

I have set up my life to not have any routines.

I work where I want to work, when I choose to work and with whom I choose to work.

If I don’t enjoy being with somebody anymore, I choose to eliminate him or her from my life.

Harsh? I don’t think so. It is the way that I have set my life up; it is the way that I like to live.

I am a free spirit, in so many ways.

I am not a misser. I am not somebody who does a lot of missing. When I am with somebody I enjoy their company and when I am not with them I enjoy the time by myself. I have never been much of a misser in my life, because every day I enjoy doing and being where I am at.

“Missing” is an emotion that is a waste of time and energy. If I am missing somebody it means that I am not present to where I am in that moment.

It doesn’t mean that I don’t think of people, it doesn’t mean I don’t have warm and fuzzy feelings inside about people from time to time, but to sit there and just ache or miss somebody—I don’t do it.

I like to hang out with people who I want to hang out with. I can’t stand schedule and routines.

When you schedule a call with me, and you’re one of my clients, I make sure I do it on days that I know I can commit. I don’t schedule anything before 10:00 in the morning, and I don’t schedule anything after 5:00 in the afternoon.

I truly live a life that I crafted for myself based on who I am as a person. I have really gotten to know myself—what I can and can’t do—and I’m okay with it all.

I don’t feel like I have any limitations. When I truly put my mind to something I know that I can do it. But there are some things that I just choose not to do and that’s okay.

This is a healthy attitude. It is an attitude that I think all of you should take in your own lives. Granted, some of you have work schedules, kids, and other lifestyles that do require scheduling.

Is it how you want to live?

That is today’s question:

How do you want to set your life up so that you can live it the exact way that you want with no compromises?
