What men truly desireI was on a plane, flying from LA to New York. I don’t know what to tell you about American Airlines new airplanes, except they’re fantastic. The business class seats are the best. I had great service, comfortable flight, and a bunch of movies to watch. I could care less whether the plane landed or not. In fact, when we landed at JFK I thought to myself, I’d have been happy to fly another 3 hours. So how does this relate to what men desire in a woman?

Well, there was a movie I watched that made me realize something powerful. The movie was called, “August: Osage County.” Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep were in it. It was actually a great movie. There’s a scene in it where one of the women characters looks at her boyfriend and says, “You’re my hero.”

The moment she says it, the man lights up. I remember a relationship I once had. One night we were talking about super powers, and which ones we’d choose if we could have one. She loved it and told me she wanted me to be her hero. It always comes back to the whole Disney fantasy women have about finding the prince who’s going to rescue them. It’s like the fantasy about finding the hero to sweep you off your feet.

Anyway, I loved the idea of being this woman’s hero. In fact, when I thought back to all the relationships in my life that worked really well, they were all with women who made me feel like their hero. That’s something all men want in a woman.

Man’s Secret Desire Revealed

Men want to feel like your hero. We want to feel like we’re rescuing you from life. I’m not talking about emotionally rescuing you, or any unhealthy co-dependency here. I’m talking about us wanting to make you feel loved, honored, and adored. When you allow us to rescue you like that, you make us feel exactly the way we need to feel.

Feeling that way makes us feel powerful and in control. It’s funny. Lately in my life, I haven’t felt very inspired by anyone I’ve met. I can inspire anyone and I’m not saying that to be cocky or arrogant. But I know I can. It’s what I do for a living. I can read people easily. I have great communication skills, and I can make people feel good about themselves.

Recently, I haven’t met any women that have made me feel the same. I don’t feel like a hero with the women I’ve been meeting. I feel like a man, but I don’t feel like women respond in the same open way as they did. I think it comes back to the whole iPhone and digital equipment addiction. You need to open and willing to flirt. I can’t stress how important that is for a man.

Make a man feel like a hero. Inspire him. Make him feel amazing, and he’s going to come back for more. It’s like a drug for us. I get intoxicated when a woman makes me feel like that. It triggers a bunch of primal desires in men. When I feel like I’m protecting you, it’s like being back in cavemen days where I was the leader and protector.

So the next time you meet a man, I want you to ask yourself this question. How is this man my hero? Does he make me feel safe and protected? If he does, how can I show him? How can I convey how he makes me feel? It’s important to convey it very clearly. He needs to pick up how you feel. Understanding a man’s trigger point, and understanding what men want, will make us connect with you in ways you can only imagine. Remember this “lesson” because all men are wired exactly the same way.
