Trust.

When you hear that word, what reaction do you have?

I want you to write it down, and I’m going to say that word one more time.

Trust.

What is your immediate reaction to that word?

What is the definition of that word?

What does that word mean to you?

A lot of people don’t trust themselves.

So when they’re presented with opportunity to better themselves, opportunities that are proven, opportunities that are painfully proven over time, there are many people who just do not trust themselves enough to execute the system.

So what happens?  Well most people will literally blame the system for not working.

But in reality, they just don’t trust themselves.

You can buy a system of weight loss.

You can buy a system of making money.

You can buy a system of eating better.  You can buy a system of meeting women.

You can buy a system of flirting to meet men, or how to attract love.

The rest is up to you.  And a lot of the time, you buy something, and then you just don’t trust the thing you buy.  Why?  Well, a lot of the same stuff will go through your brain.

Pretty basic and pretty simple.  What goes through your brain when you don’t trust?

Can’t work for me.

It won’t work this time.

This is a different situation.

And there’s so many things that could go across your mind.

It worked earlier.

Doesn’t work at night.

I’m a unique specimen, so it’s not going to work for me.

But in reality, the only reason why things don’t work for us is because we don’t trust ourselves to execute.

That’s really what it comes down to.  We don’t trust ourselves.  Our programming is so deep that we don’t trust ourselves to better ourselves.

I know I’ve suffered from this from time to time in my life, it’s human nature.

I’ll be given a stock entry.

I’ll be told that this is support.

I won’t answer, because I’ll think to myself, maybe this is the one time this isn’t going to work.  So what?  You don’t know if something’s going to work until you actually try. But what happens to your brain, before you actually go and execute, before you actually go and get into something?

Get into a diet.

Get into a stock trade.

Go up and approach somebody.

Buy a new business.

Before you do it, your brain says, maybe this isn’t the time it’s going to work.  And you don’t want to lose, because nobody likes losing.  Everybody wants to win.

Especially millennials.

Millennials grew up without ever losing or winning.  They always played to neutral in all their sporting events.

So instead of going in, we don’t do something.  Then we realize, through watching something, or seeing somebody else do it, that it actually would have worked.

And then we say to ourself,
“Alright. Next time I’m going to do it.”

And then we suffer from the next time.  The next time the same situation comes up, we don’t do it again.  The reason being is, you know why, you don’t trust yourself.

It’s really what it comes down to.  We don’t trust ourselves, so we continually get frustrated with the same situations over and over again.

So the next time a situation comes up, don’t listen to the voice inside your fucking head that says it’s not going to work.
