Did I get your attention? I certainly hope so.
Here’s the deal: how many times do you say to yourself that today is the day that you’re going to go out there and meet great women?
“I hope that I can get it right, I hope that I can make breakthroughs.”
To me, “hope” is a non-committed word.
Can you imagine if you went to the bathroom in the morning and said, “God, I hope I can take a crap this morning.”
Hope is a weak word. The only words that I ever want to hear out of anybody’s mouth is can and do.
So think about this:
“Today I’m going to go out there and I’m going to meet women. I can do it. Not only am I going to meet women, I’m going to have fucking fun doing it.”
Sorry if I’m cursing, but I need to get the point across.
“I’m going to have so much fucking fun doing it that you know what, I don’t care if I screw up. I expect to screw up, and during my screw-up I’m going to have a lot of fun. Hell, I might even admit to a woman that I’m not good at this. But I approached her and talked to her anyway because I fucking wanted to her.”
Think about how much more powerful those statements are.
You can do whatever you want and say whatever you want, but you’ve got to program your mind a certain way. The words hope and maybe are all really weak words.
Say it out loud.
“I think I can do it.”
Now look at yourself in the mirror right now and say, “I know I can do this.”
Much different feeling right?
Say, “I’m going to screw up today.”
Look at yourself again in the mirror and say, “I may say something stupid. But I’m going to laugh about it because at least I’m participating in life. At least I am being a part of life, I’m being alive. I’m not sitting back and being a hoper.”
Hopers never meet anybody, because all they do is hope.
“I hope it works out.”
“I hope I can get laid tonight.”
“I hope she’ll kiss me.”
