So you’re dating a guy.
The two of you are about to go out.
Do you notice how you can ask him how your dress looks on you and he’ll answer with “okay”.
His answer is usually always positive.
“Yes, it looks okay on you.”
Whenever a man says that, you know what he’s telling you? He’s telling you that it just looks okay on you. He’s never going to tell you that he doesn’t like it because he doesn’t want to rock your confidence.
He knows that you probably like the dress. And there have been so many times that you’ve worn clothes that he absolutely loves, so why bother telling you that he doesn’t like this little pink floral dress that you’re wearing.
Besides, he knows the very next time you see each other you’re going to be wearing something he loves
So next time he says that your dress looks ‘okay’, realize that he doesn’t particularly like it but he does love you and he doesn’t want to rock your confidence.
And he also knows that the majority of times, you look super sexy to him wearing things that he absolutely loves.
That actually is the sign of a real man, a man that actually cares about you, a man that actually thinks you’re amazing.

This post reminds me of that age old question that so many self conscious women seem to ask their significant other, “Does this look fat on me?” Here’s a clue…if you really need to ask that question, then you already know the answer! The guy isn’t going to tell you the truth…so if you don’t like what you see, and you’re feeling self conscious, do something about it (i.e. working out and eating healthy.) I’m proud to say I’ve never had to ask a guy that question.
You are so spot on, Pam!!! I actually felt all “cringey” & uncomfortable reading about the girl asking how the dress looked, similar to the does this make me look fat question..that we should NEVER be asking guys in the first place yes yes…
Personally I never ask either hehe, and my guy always compliments the outfit that I am wearing, how I look..:-D
P.S. Nathalie, that quote is true! In reality, most guys do not care if a woman “has a few extra pounds”…it’s almost always the woman who has issues with how she looks.

I recently got these in pink http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KQUORI/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 (for an amazing price $44!) but they aren’t a pretty pink.
Not a “blush pink”. THey are that ugly dusty pink that looks like dirt haha that is everywhere on everything in fashion today. Ugh. Ugly. I hate it. (Plus, my mom (who has the worst taste in fashion haha) told me they are pretty and my brother who knows attractiveness on women doesn’t like them so that definitely means that they are ugly) IT’s so hard to just find real pink. Pretty actually attractive pink! We can’t even get leather ballet slippers in PINK. It’s that nasty nude color.

I recently met this gentleman who tells me that I’m beautiful all of the time. He is like the greatest man, ever! I keep praying that he turns out to be genuine, real and that he’s really this way because it’s so hard to believe.
We don’t want to hear the truth! We want to hear that we are beautiful everyday, every second. Whether we are or not! It makes us feel more beautiful and “FINE” is not okay!
Just for you, I have been searching and searching to find you the wedges I was dying for, but now I can’t even find them! They are redoing Betsey Johnsons which is where I saw them!! I even checked amazon and zappos..nothing..They were at least 5 inches all leopard heheheee I LOVE leopard everything…
