I get turned on a lot.
But nothing turns me on more than when I’m sitting across from a woman I’m attracted to…
…and I’m looking deep into her eyes and she’s looking back into mine.
I wonder what she’s thinking.
Nothing turns me on more than when I am on a date and I’m sharing a story, and the woman is looking directly into my eyes.
Nothing turns me on more than a woman that’s not afraid of me, a woman that challenges me, that makes me think and tells me how she feels without worrying about what I think or feel or how I’m going to react.
If you want to really date men, and get them to be intrigued by you—look at them. Stare into their eyes. It drives men crazy. It makes us wonder what you’re thinking.
We love it. It turns us on mentally and physically.
A lot of women are afraid of eye contact, they’re afraid to look in a man’s eyes, they’re afraid to be 100% honest because they feel like it takes away their power.
Or they just get inside their head and start thinking about all the ten-thousand things.
But here’s the deal: eye contact is power. It takes a certain level of confidence and strength to hold eye contact with someone—especially if you’re attracted to them—without looking away.
So the next time you’re out on a date, look deep into his eyes, smile and feel great about where you are and what’s going on.
You’ll both be better off for it.

It’s very sexy. One of the best parts of a date that’s going well, when both people are interested and the attraction is flowing both ways. And of course, it’s sexy when you’re talking to an attractive guy you just met.
I’m getting much better at doing this – I knew I had the tendency not to do it because I didn’t want him to think that I was interested?!
I also enjoy eye contact, in fact, i lose respect for a guy if he can’t do it back. Ive been on numerous dates where the guys don’t. I find it rude and tells me their not interested, even if they obviously are.
lol, Jen, why would you not want a guy to think you are interested??
@ S.W. I really don’t know what is going on in my head – I still have a bad habit of thinking that they should approach me without having to do anything to entice them to come on over.
It’s amazing how something as simple as eye contact and a smile makes a fella come and talk with me……
The same holds true for men. I love when a man is looking into my eyes while I’m talking, showing interest in what is being said, being engaged in the conversation. Thanks so much, David!
I’m curious if it’s just David or if other guys like when we look into their eyes!
I know what a guy is thinking when he’s looking into my eyes: “God, she wears a lot of eye makeup”
OT but I am so wondering what exactly happens when a guy invites you over “to watch a movie”!! For people that have actually done that, what exactly goes on?!?! (when you don’t automatically hit the sheets)
Another guy asked me to come watch a movie. Normally, I wouldn’t think twice about rejecting it but he wears pink AND he has more beautiful diamond earrings than I do, so maybe he actually just wants to watch a movie! hee hee
I used to live with two girls, one of them used “watching a movie” as her code phrase for “I’m gonna bang”. Lol, it was too funny b/c she had one guy come over often and even he knew.
hee hee that’s funny! ok got it. He’s got a kid so he’s probably experienced at “watching a movie”
David’s cheating lecture where he says to look at who the person already is was actually extremely helpful. I used to just ignore it and think, I’ll find out later!
This really does work. It just comes naturally for me and I never really knew how much of an effect it had until the guy I’m currently seeing commented on how much he enjoys just laying with me and looking into my eyes. He actually seemed a bit taken aback by how much he likes it.
Earlier today I was watching a clip from “The Thomas Crown Affair”…not the remake, but the original with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Look up the chess scene on YouTube sometime–it’s very exaggerated and a little corny with the music (it was the 60s, after all) but it’s also considered a very sexy movie scene because of the smoldering eye contact.
