Valentines For MenThe first thing I need to say is there really isn’t any such thing as a man friendly Valentine’s Day. We know Valentine’s Day is really all about the women. Most guys had their special day on Super Bowl Sunday when the Seahawks took apart the Broncos. We love football. It’s great hanging out and having a blast with other guys.

Now the season’s over and it’s hard for us. We’ve even shed a tear or two. We spent six wonderful months with our addiction, and now we have to wait until September for our next fix. It’s not easy for us to say goodbye.

So Valentine’s is really aimed at you ladies. The teddy bears, the chocolates, and the meals out. You know what drives me nuts is how restaurants charge double for food on Valentine’s night, and then the food goes back to normal prices on February 15th. It’s crazy!

But how can you show the special man in your life you’re not like all the other women out there? How can you show him you want to make Valentine’s special for him for a change?

It’s much easier than you think. If there’s an event happening near you, take him to that. A concert is a great idea. If there’s some sort of sporting event  you can get to, you become the most amazing girlfriend ever. Forget the whole dinner and candy cliché. Men aren’t into it. Think about something you can do as a couple. Even something simple like a cookery class is a fun idea. It’s a great way to show him he’s special to you.

A lot of guys like wine tasting so Google and see if there’s anything like that near you. I believe in thinking outside the box and avoiding the clichés. Set up a sexy treasure hunt at home where you’re the final treasure. Mix things up and make things exciting in your relationship. Valentine’s Day gives you a really good opportunity to spice things up.

To be honest, most guys are stressed over Valentine’s Day. The media puts us under a ton of pressure to make some expensive gesture of our love to you. It’s something we should do every day, not just at Valentine’s. So, think of something original. And if you’re going down the concert or sporting event route, don’t worry if the event isn’t happening on the 14th of February. Just present him with the tickets in a card, and he’ll think he’s the luckiest guy on the planet.

There you have it!

Simple ways to make your man feel special on Valentine’s Day.
