How many times have you met somebody who you just find amazing?

You go out on a date, the spark is there, the chemistry is there, yet nothing happens.

How many times have you gone to a party and you meet somebody and exchange numbers, but nothing really happens?

Sometimes when you meet somebody who is absolutely perfect for you, they’re not in the perfect place to explore the amazing you.

Waiting for the Timing to Be Right

timing is everythingI want to share a personal story with you.

And this is something that has happened to me many times in my life.

I was living in Boulder, Colorado. This was the mid 90s.

I moved to Boulder from New York City and it was quite a culture shock to me.

I was used to women dressing sexy, being hip, and I moved to a place where most women would wear Patagonia.

Patagonia clothing is made out of organic cotton or recycled polyester and isn’t exactly an aphrodisiac that comes down to, well, pre-sex clothing.

There was also this thing about Denver and Boulder.

We called it Manver.

The population was skewed with far more men.

The lifestyle there is all about snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, mountain climbing, so there were just men everywhere. Whenever I would meet a woman who I found really attractive, there was always this 75% chance that she was with somebody else.

But that didn’t matter because I always truly believed timing is everything. I’m not looking to just meet somebody today. I’m looking to connect with somebody. And if it takes six months to a year to get together with them, so be it.

That’s what life is all about, meeting people, not discarding anybody, not worrying about what’s going to happen.

I met a woman. Her name was Denise. She was with this guy.

According to friends, their relationship was kind of rocky, so I became friends with her. We got to know one another, no pressure at all.

Let Them Meet the Real You

When you allow somebody to see you for who you truly are, that’s what authenticity is all about. When you go down this route, the beauty of this route is that you’re not trying to sell yourself to someone.

You’re not trying to sell yourself to everybody, which is great. You’re not on your best behavior at all because you have nothing to gain and nothing to lose. You just allow this other person to see you and that is really what dating should be all about.

Unfortunately, we know that dating is representative; it represents all of the things that we are and may or may not be. We tend to fool one another over and over again.

This route, this thing that I’m exposing in the video down below, it’s actually the best way to date.

It’s probably the only way to date.

Whatever happened to the woman I met?

She ended up breaking up with her boyfriend and going out with me, and we ended up falling for one another. Unfortunately, I left for California, so the relationship never went where it should have gone. But, that’s okay because we’re talking about what happens now. Now is what I’m about to expose in this video, where I’m joined by my good friend, Brooklyn Sherman.

She and I will go over the waiting, the planting a seed, and what to do when it comes down to the game we call love. Go ahead, start the video.
