Who Kicks My Ass?

One of the people who listened to yesterday’s podcast on persistence, sent me this question: “Dude, do you kick your own ass every day?” (By the way, if you missed yesterday’s podcast, you can CLICK HERE to listen to it now)

I kick my own ass every day. I challenge myself every day. I do it in my relationships, I do it with my friends and I still do it in business.

I look for ways to improve myself every single day. I wake up in the morning and I do a “to do” list with both work and personal things.

I kick my own ass every single day because this is my shot at living. I have no idea where we go next. I really don’t.

I’d like to believe that my soul will go somewhere else, kind of like in the movie “Defending Your Life” (which is a great movie by the way). I want to believe that my soul may move on — maybe as Daphne the dog or as a woman.

Man, would that ever be great to come back as a woman. I’ll finally know what multiple orgasms are all about.

It would also be wonderful to have a clit. It would be one of the greatest things in the world. I could come 70 times a day. Why not?

I’m a guy. I know what it’s like to be a guy. I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman, so it would be just a wonderful experience to be able to enjoy that.

I really don’t know what I’m going to be or In what form I’m going to come back. I might come back as a car interior. I mean, who knows? I might come back as a cow who gets slaughtered and whose hide gets used in a BMW, and then I would have people sitting on my face for ten years.

Everything in life is about energy, so you have no idea as what you’ll come back. What is most important, though, is knowing that what you’ll come back as is unknown and all you know for certain is the life you are living right now. That is why I kick my ass every single day.

I have challenges. Believe me, I have plenty of them.

If you came into my house, you’d see challenges. There are challenges in my relationship. I still have challenges with my mother. I have challenges with some co-workers at times.

Nevertheless, I try really hard every single day to kick my own ass, so I can grow as a person. I wanted to share that with you guys so you know I’m no different than you.

I talk more about how to go through this process for yourself every day HERE.

  1. But the self challenges will never end… o.0

  2. I am curious too what it be like to live one day as woman and experience multiple orgasm:)

  3. Jeffrey- I’m sure you can experience multiple orgasm, you don’t have to be a woman to do that.

  4. Howe- I know but I think women’s orgasm are a lot more powerful and they can keep going in all directions:)

  5. I once heard that a woman’s sexual energy is so strong that it takes roughly about 16 men to equal that energy. Not sure how much of that statement is true. What you guys think?

  6. No idea I’ll have too look that one up online but its believable.

  7. I think this is really crucial to challenge oneself everyday. We will not have the coaches with us all the time but we will have to take the information and put it in to practice. I am guilty of that sometimes. What I can really work on is pushing myself everyday, and work on all areas of my life.

  8. I really do hope that if people come back, that you come back as a woman.

I think you’ll find that this “Man, would that ever be great to come back as a woman. I’ll finally know what multiple orgasms are all about.

It would also be wonderful to have a clit. It would be one of the greatest things in the world. I could come 70 times a day. ” Isn’t even 1/10th of what it’s about.

But yes, I agree, challenging yourself daily, taking inventory of your life, figuring out how to improve or where you are stuck can be helpful.

  9. :-) Hmm,

from my point of view life is habitual.

99% of the things we do today is what we did yesterday.
99& of the thoughts we have today is what we thought of yesterday.

We live in this unconsciously and we dont even know it. In order to change that (those bad thoughts, bad habits, bad rituals) we need to put conscious effort every single day. Thats hard…

Hmm, interesting how could I as a man experience 70 orgasms a day…:-) hmmm

  10. I try working on myself everyday at meeting more women

But most girls refuse to date asian guys(mostly white girls)

David u say i should smile more and record and my mishaps and correct them but why even bother when alot girls dont do interracial??

kheim is my asian brotha from another motha, hes knows what its like

  11. Coming back as a woman would be great, cause those days when I have no pockets and don’t feel like carrying around my car keys….

What you said about everything in life reminded me of the movie Avatar. “All energy is borrowed. We eventually have to give it back.” I think it said in the movie.

  13. Hah! 70 orgasms a day wouldn’t leave you much options in term of career choices anymore because you’d basically have to make your hobby into a career!

  14. Hmm…as for me I wouldn’t mind having a penis! Why not! See how many places I can find to poke at with it.

Now, as for personal transformation – that is what we are discussing along with orgasms, is it not – I have concluded that relaxing into well-being is much more satisfying than a kick in the ass. I find I can be creative and accomplish things and have fun too.

Oh, and last but not least, my ass doesn’t hurt from all that kickin’.

  15. It’s amazing how a blog about challenging yourself to grow everyday gets focused on orgasms! I guess multiple orgasms can be challenging for some:)

  16. Lauren,

The penis needs constant self touching, you’d never be able to leave it alone! Needs to be shifted a lot in your jeans to hide the hard ons throughout the day.

  17. Challenging yourself daily not only causes you to become better socially but you are also buidling life skills. This is a trait that will serve you well all your life.

  18. Dave, because you kick your own ass everyday is the reason you have this successful blog. This should be used as an inspiration to the rest of us.

  19. Kevin,

Hee hee…it sounded a lot like you were talking about doggies – after all, they need lots of touching and you can never leave them alone – then you got to the shifting it in the jeans part. Well, I would deal with that! At least you don’t have to sit down every time you want to use the toilet. Bottom line, it’s all good!

  20. …And all this time I thought I was the only one that wished to become a man for a day!

By the way, David, this is my first comment on your blog, but I’ve been keeping up with your blog on a constant basis and I love how every post has such deep meaning in it and helps people make sense of how life works. I have been away for 2 weeks and so I am catching up with all that I’ve missed :) You and your blog are amazing, thank you.

  21. Mike

I hope this is the first of many comments on the blog!!!

Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

  22. Mika,

You’re not alone! How about a month! ;)

  23. Lauren,

Ohh you got a lot of FUN homework waiting for you then! :)
