What an amazing day so far.
Do you know what the definition of an amazing day is?
An amazing day is when you wake up past your alarm, which I did this morning.
It was an amazing morning because I woke up next to the woman that I love and then took Daphne for a walk on the beach. I am going to head back to the beach and do some cardio then off to buy a new beach cruiser bike.
What else am i going to do.
I have some errands to run and then tonight I am taking my girl to her favorite place to eat.
Its a Saturday and I am going to appreciate and enjoy every moment. I am going to engage people and enjoy conversations with strangers. I am going to ignore the blackberry and be 100% present where am it each step of the way.
It’s all about taking every single moment and appreciating it.
That’s the definition of a beautiful day: being able to appreciate every little thing around you. Appreciating every visual stimulus around you – from beautiful women to great friends to amazing trees, the ocean, everything! It’s about really taking it all in.
When you’re out there in your world, do you really take it all in? Do you take in every little bit of every single day? Do you really appreciate it and stay present in the moment?
You knew there was a lesson in this blog somewhere and the lesson is this: go out there and take in every little thing.
Count the stars in the sky. Look at the trees on the street. Take a look at the water that is around you. Look at the color of the sky. Look at everything that is around you.
Become observant in everything in your life. The more observant you become, the more that you’ll have to talk to people about. The more you can talk to people, the stronger your connections with them will be and the less time you will be stuck in your head.

One last thing.
Its raining here and the weather has nothing to do with my mood or a great day. Its all about your mindset.
I agree David. God’s creation is beautiful. It’s a masterpiece creation. The things that we take for granted are the ones that can brighten our day.
David, you should do a blog about meeting woman at the gym. I’ve been applying your principles at the LA Fitness I go to. For instance, should guys still approach a girl if they have their earphones on? To me that would be a no-no, but this one girl kept looking at me so I had to do something. So I waved hello when she was walking past me and she smiled and kept walking, and I said, “Wait! I wanna ask you something” she kept walking but removed one of her ear pieces and by that time she was past me and so she stopped and said, “What?” as if she was bothered (but I really think she was nervous) and I simply said “Never-mind.” She seemed snotty, but I really think she thought i was trying to pick up. As a David Wygant apprentice, I don’t pick up, simply converse like a normal human being. Anyhoot, this has nothing to do with the beautiful day that we have today in LA.

Mac remember if you do the gym pickup make sure you always wipe down the machines nothing annoys girl more in a gym.

Oh that is what all my Cougar friends call it when they Pick Up young boys at the Promenade.. LOL I guess it’s only a word we girls use..we have not gotten so much sensitivity training yet.
I find ever day to be amazing because no matter how planned and co-ordinated I am, there is always surprises every where you look.
Good friends, good job, good music, and good times.

An amazing day is one where your own actions or inaction don’t interfere with opportunity yet also allow unexpected things to unfold – staying in every moment – neither rushing things nor failing to initiate things. When a day flows like this, you feel an inner glow or warmth that carries you from one experience to the next with nothing weighing you down and no hand-wringing thoughts in your head. Every day should be an amazing day.
My wonderful day is driving to work and seeing my favorite guy go by. Or just looking up to the heavens and be thankful that I am alive. Then seeing friends at work and talking to them when I get a chance. Living each day as it comes for tomorrow is never promised.
Watching the podcast and noticed the young guys that walked by yeah they look like the bunch that are pua trainees. The girl on the phone I wonder could she be talking to her boyfriend umm. The girl that walked by the camera I wonder could she be camera shy. Who knows what goes on in a persons mind.
I actually like the rain! It gives me a very tranquil kind of feeling inside.
I was just discussing this with a friend the other day! I feel a perfect day is one where anything happens but most importantly nothing is forced, nothing is avoided, the feeling that no walk too long one day a friend and I took the motorbikes out a run. driving conditions were great weather wasbright but no sun in out eyes roads were quiet when we got to our destination, great music was playing which we didn’t have to pick lunch tatsted we some the people we spoke to were great all in all the day was pleasant.
today is an amazing day for me, because I woke up past my alarm clock, I am excited its sunny out, but not as warm as it is in California. Sometimes I will have to remind myself to take it all in.

Dave, I just had to put in my 2 cents worth. I used to hate everything about life, tailgaters,bill collectors, my business, customers, having to stuggle every day, in short just about everything. About 6 years ago a sharp eyed doctor noticed that I looked very depressed and asked me about it. I admitted to suicidal thoughts. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and put on medication for it. Today everything is beautiful. Bill collectors are just a challenge to face. I love what I do for a living to to point of obssession with it. I love talking to peple in my business and on the street. I joke about everything. I am a fanatic photographer, I have to force myself to not stop and take pictures of all the beautiful things I see, and tailgaters I think Oh, fuck him, he can just go around.
I know the whole world did not change just for me. My positve attitude is within me. Before it was very hard to keep a positive attitude when I felt the world was against me,but now I feel strong and confident that I can overcome any challenges that life presents to me.
I just wanted to share that with everyone, true happiness in life comes from within, and it works like a magnet that draws other to you. Paul Loughner

Long distance has its challenges.
Most days are amazing because I don’t have an alarm clock. I just wake up. Usually it’s around 9:30 and it’s great! I visualize my day in the next half hour and then boom! I’m off.
Fun. Impact. Lessons. Experience. Happiness. All of these things are what I set out to achieve every day. Makes me excited to get home and do it all over again the next day.
I haven’t read this blog as often as I’m used to because my laptop got some failure, but today I’m catching up.
This same saturday was an amazing day for me. My dad came to visit me. He works in another city, so even on vacations I get to see him few times. We spend the whole day together: we went to a buffet breakfast, visited 2 local exhibitions throughout the day and saw an amateur comedy at night. I felt like a little girl again, and I’ll never get too old or ashamed as to say that I don’t wanna hang out with my old man.
You really learn to appreciate things when you don’t have them at hand all the time.
An amazing day for me is when all 3 of my adult kids call me to chat or we can get together, and I don’t have to go to work, when I can get outside and enjoy he weather, when I can help someone even in the smallest way, and I can enjoy time with my guy; talking about our day, our future. He tells me I’m beautiful and loving… and then the rest you don’t need to know.
All of this makes me feel secure, safe and extremely happy. It’s doesn’t cost a penny and isn’t fattening; it’s all part of a really amazing day for me since it is rare all of this occurs all in the same day.
PS and if I get a tax return this year… that would be an amazing day for sure!

What would we do without our dad’s there were times my dad and I would have our differences. Hey what can I say we are alike in some ways. I really admire my dad and his courage he has always provided for us when times were tough. I could rely on my dad when these guys thought they could leave me behind. My dad is my number one hero and my mom is my number one heorine. My mom calls me her favorite lieutenant.
