I had a great weekend (even though I was still recovering from illness, major renovations at home - and home office - and spent much of it working...)

I was editing a book which is due out later this year 'How to have a Champagne Life on a Beer Budget'. Full of great information and easy to follow steps to turn your life around so you have more time and money to do the things you love - wish I had written it!!!

Then time out with friends and family in the sunshine.... so productive, relaxing and enjoyable.

I do remember doing 50 activities every weekend - that still happens most of the time. It's just the activities change over time.

Now aiming to slow down and live more in the moment (longer than ten or twenty minute breaks!)

This has been a relaxing weekend. My son is with his father and I've had the house all to myself. I've had several options to go do things but man, it just felt so good so sit here and soak up the 'quiet'. I must be getting old. lol Years ago, Saturday and Sunday mornings were spent nursing a hangover but now, I get in bed early and get excited about mowing the yard the next day. Does this finally make me an adult? lol

Hahaha... Wow that really hit something in me.

So true

I'm 24 and do all those things. I'll ask people about their weekends and in response give them my list of all the things to do. It's so true.... for me there always seems to be a necessity to make weekends meaningful and purposeful, and if there was nothing happening I'd automatically assume that the weekend was poor.

I guess it's something I need to learn and practice. to learn to be satisfied with the smaller things and quit expecting too much.

Great post

Lets see... It is about 4 on Saturday afternoon and I'm taking a relaxing moment to drink coffee and reading DW of course...

I woke late- 1030, went for a run...At noon I met a friend for a quick bite and then played a gig at 2. Now as I said I'm catching up on old emails and drinkiong coffee before I go for a walk by myself and check out a farmers market... later tonight will watch some comedy and hang out with some friends from my speaking club...

I totally hear David about wanting to do everything possible in your 20's... I'm 25 and have oodles of energy... no shortage of testosterone/hormones here!...

my early 20's thusfar have been only as good as I've allowed myself to make 'em- which by my standards is not that bright.... I am becoming a more relaxed man and doing more things on a daily basis which I haven't done in the past...

I don't know but my weekends are so boring. Most of the time there is almost no difference to a normal weekday.
I haven't found the right people to hang with. I mean when I go out I want to dance I want to talk to some women and it would be really nice to have a friend that shares those interests with me. I am searching for a long time now for a guy who is a so called natural or really good with women.
But it seems that I have to figure out by myself. And of course by learning from David.

Thank you David.

What are you doing this weekend is a question I tend to ask frequently to people whom I am interacting with. I am just showing genuine interest in them. I often get for an answer: "Oh, not much, just work..." Or they say they have no clue through their body language.
This to me comes off as boring. As in they are boring people, or the fact that maybe they do not want to tell me the truth, because they do not know me, as I am a stranger to them and they don't get that question asked often by people they don't know.

Maybe that last thing I said is all an illusion in my head.

Im in my early 20's, 23. During the week I go to school and do my regular activities, like hitting the gym and going to martial arts class.
During the weekends though, I spend most of the time at home, just relaxing, playing the guitar. I also hit the gym on the weekends.

This weekend I go to my friends and watch games of the World Cup soccer. MAN!! This worldcup has allot of surpises. The strong teams actually play very neutral games, they do not play at their top best.

Later on tonight Im going to one big Salsa festival with a friend of mine from martial arts.

Im gonna yaw and saw and do the other thing that never works which David said in one of his youtube video's.
YAW= yell at women.(when drunk or with friends)
SAW= scream at women.

Hahaha, no....Im kidding. Im not going to do that. Thats just plain sad....
