If any woman knew that I thought "yummy" when I looked at her.. She would probably be so grossed out, and disgusted, she would jump off the top floor of that parking garage. Seriously.. No woman on earth wants a guy who looks like me to think about her that way. That's the honest truth.

I don't know, people. I am afraid that any attractive woman gets that 'yummy' look way too often, especially from older guys. Unless you do it very subtle, and unless it is immediately clear that you have a lot more to offer than just 'yummy', either by who you are, or what you do, it easily comes off as creepy. I helped my daughter move last year, she is in college now, and whenever I visit, which is not too often, there are the inevitable 'I like your dad' comments. Some of these girls are definitely yummy, but that last thing I want to do is give them the yummy look. This would definitely put me in the dirty old man category. There is a fairly athletic woman at the gym, she told me that she had lost 25 pounds over the years, well, THAT is a chance to look at her butt and tell her that you simply cannot imagine where she would put those 25 pounds.

Brad- Dead on. We know you are thinking 'yummy'. We can sense it. I've been with men who literally look hungry-starving- in their eyes. It's disturbing. It's one thing to be looked at and admired, but not in a hungry, sexual manner. Look at me but then tell me that you love my dress or that my hair looks amazing (but don't follow with, "I just want to bury my hands in it. Do you like to get your hair pulled?"). "Yummy" says sex. No man is thinking, "Yummy! i wonder if she works as an accountant." or "Yummy! cant wait to find out where she grew up." Women love sex. We really do. We just don't like it when all roads lead to sex. Having sex, talking about it, texting pics, Jesus. There's so much more to a relationship. Or maybe not anymore. Or maybe there never was.

Here's a conundrum. I'm 58 and find few women my age I consider "yummy". Any that I look at in that way (my reaction is usually "wow', not "yummy")are typically too young or attached. The vast majority of women my age have aged badly or put on weight. I had two ex-girlfiends look me up in hopes of starting something again and both had gotten, well, fat. That's a real turn-off for me. I work out and try to take care of myself. I've been told I look younger, but I digress. I was involved with a very attractive woman my age--the sex was great, etc. but she was, in the vernacular, batshit. She had serious issues. And that seems to be the pattern--the good ones are all taken and what's left are undesireable or nuts. BTW--I've tried Meetup groups, eHarmony, Match.com and nothing worked. The results were the same as I previously mentioned. Any ideas?
