The Power Of Brady is believing you can win every single football game, meet hot supermodels, and be a 6th round draft pick who can have the best season of any quarterback on any team in the history of football. Tom Brady is probably about to go to his fourth Superbowl after a season in which he has never lost a game.

He is the ultimate underdog. During last night’s game, they showed clips from Tom Brady’s Combine tapes. He was a 6th round draft pick who only got his opportunity thanks to New York Jets linebacker Mo Lewis separating Drew Bledsoe’s sternum from his body during the second game of the 2001 season.

Tom Brady, the 6th round draft pick, has now led the New England Patriots to the greatest run in the history of the NFL. Not once during last night’s game did you see The Patriots show any fear in their eyes. Not once did they not believe that they were going to win that game.

The Power Of Brady is believing in yourself. If you get rejected by a woman, you go out and meet another one as quickly as possible. If a girl doesn’t call you back, you let it go. It’s just a pass that hit the ground.

Tom Brady under threw Randy Moss. In the very next play, he went back and threw the exact same play. That time he completed it and broke two NFL records.

So get out there and complete a pass. Don’t let the incompletion’s ever bother you. That’s what The Power Of Brady is all about.

For those of you who would rather jump up and down like Marcia and scream “F-F-Fil-M-M-Mor … Filmor Junior High School!”, I suggest you rent the Brady Bunch.

I appreciate this idea in theory. Go out and don't worry about rejection. Believe in yourself. But I do worry about rejection. That is because it is all I have ever had and getting rejected is just further confirmation that I am not attractive at all to women. I come from a different experience than most any body here. I am old enough to have graduated high school in the 80's yet I have never even kissed a woman. So I wonder where you suggest how one cultivate this belief and inner game to let rejection go if they have never experienced success. I know that if I was someone who could point to some successes, I could say, sure this woman wasn't interested, but history shows that someone will be if I just keep trying. But I cannot do that. So could you expound on this a bit more and instead of the rah rah go get em speech, talk about where confidence and the development of this mindset to let rejection go comes from.

Yeah--- Brady is such a rock. Whether things go well, or go horribe-- he's just even keeled and stays himself. I sweat the ones that don't call back so much less now... because the next day or week is another down, and another chance to score. Evan-- Do you have friends or know people who you can talk to or see in action, etc. that are good with women? (or go to a bootcamp). You might need to see some of this first-hand to realize your own success and let go of limiting beliefs.

Hey Evan - If I wrote everything you wanted in a blog and posted it, the blog would be about 200 pages. As you know, the purpose of the blogs is to give you a taste of a certain aspect in dating. For instance, today was about developing winning mindset. Tomorrow's going to be about the insanity of New Year's Eve. Some blogs are more "rah rah" in nature, some will go deeper into technique, while others are meant to keep things light and fun. It all depends on my mood and really what I want to talk about that day. I'm sure you've watched some of the video (I've got over 100 videos on youtube), and they're also designed to teach you a daily lesson on bettering your skills with women. Every day I try to give my readers another lesson to advance their social skills. I know it can be frustrating not having the dating life you desire, and I know that you appreciate what I'm posting. I can only give you bits and pieces at a time. I'm not sure whether you've looked into any of my products, but my products go very deep into mindset and confidence. I've been doing this for almost ten years, and each product is designed to help men and women advance in their social life. My products cover everything from deep inner confidence and overcoming excuses, to products that actually teach you the right and wrong way to approach, and what to do after the initial approach. Hello all, I must say that this latest blog definitely piqued my interest, as not only does it relate to sports, but to the game of life. However, if you'll permit me to take the role of devil's advocate, I want to point out a few flaws here. I will give credit where it is due, that Tom Brady is a great quarterback. However, one must realize that this is a team game. If you took away half the team he had, the Patriots would not even be in the top five of the league. Someone once told me that confidence is like good credit, either you have it or don't. I have mentioned in a previous blog that some of us are not entitled to happy endings. Mr. Wygant, you have asked us the question "What's your excuse?" repeatedly. Well, my "excuse" is not an "excuse" at all. I have a speech impediment. I know it's not a big deal, but it has prevented me from doing a lot of things I wanted to do in my life socially. I have confidence in other areas in my life, but socially is not one of them. If you were to ask me what my confidence level is on a scale of one to ten socially, mine would be -100. That's really how I feel. I did agree with a lot of comments you wrote in the "Always Talk To Strangers" book that you wrote, and it has helped me understand why women are the way they are. But at the same time, it's also re-affirmed my feelings on other topics. I live in the suburbs of New York, and I find that women are very vain and materialistic. Heaven help them if they don't get that Fendi bag right away. I know when it comes to these bad social experiences, we're supposed to "let it go." Well, I'm sorry, but I can't. You are dead-on in your comments that you posted when you spoke about your bootcamp coaching for teens-kids are more cruel than ever...and that goes for adults too. Sadly, some people can't grow up, or refuse to. Some of us may want to be like Tom Brady and enjoy having sex with Gisele, but he's also the one who unexpectedly got her knocked up as well. I wouldn't want someone to be proud of that! Whether Brady wins the Super Bowl or not, I guarantee you this: when you're at the top of your game, everyone else comes after you hard. And they won't forget running up the score either. So enjoy this....because karma will return, and they'll experience what it is like to be on the losing end. So go Jacksonville and everyone else to knock Tom Brady's team out LOL.

Hey Steven, To be 100% honest with you, I'm a long-suffering Jets fan. I grew up in New York. My father was a Jets fan. He told me to hate the Giants and love the Jets. So I did what every single kid does - I followed the allegiance to the team that your Dad roots for. As for you thinking that every woman wants a Fendi bag, you're 100% wrong. I know Long Island very well - I grew up in Scarsdale (equally as pretentious). But to group every single woman into one pile is all about your frustration. You can't group everybody. The only reason why you are is because you're very frustrated in your personal life. I totally understand how you're feeling, but you have to realize that in order to meet women as you know you have to talk to many. You sound like a great guy, and I'm sure there are plenty of women even with a stuttering problem who would be very happy to date you. Think of all of us as your teammates (using your analogy). We're here to support you, to help you, and to give you all the tips you need to gain more confidence. But the first thing you need to realize is that you can't lump every woman into the same category. If you did that, we'd all be Patriots fans. I'm a Tom Brady fan. I'm also a football fan ... I like to see records broken. I rooted for Barry Bonds to break the homerun record. Sure he used steroids, but so do a ton of the pitchers who were pitching to him. We've become such a judgmental society and usually the person we judge the most is ourself. So to use sports analogies, I'll never know what it's like to be you, but what I do know is that attitude is everything . . . and the first thing we need to do is work on your belief system. Not every woman in Long Island dreams of carrying a Fendi purse. I bet there are plenty of them who dream about meeting a nice, sensitive, honest man like you. So you've joined the right team, and I look forward to helping you more throughout next year.

Hello David and good evening to you, Wow! That was some comments you gave to me. Let me see if I can try and match what you wrote..... First of all, congratulations on joining the many legions of long-suffering New York Jets fans who wonder when they will get a franchise quarterback and wonder who the next bust will be (i.e. Browning Nagle, Blair Thomas, and so on). I should introduce you to Joe Beningo, who hosts the 10-1 slot on WFAN/660 (24 hour local sports talk) along with Evan Roberts. Whenever the Jets are mentioned, his words are "Oh the pain." He's convinced the Jets will never get to a Super Bowl in his lifetime, he's fifty something....he might be right. That's interesting you grew up in Scarsdale...another New York suburb that is country club living. But in retrospect you are right that you can't group everyone into one pile. I think when you have so many demoralizing social experiences you just become desensitized and you come to a point where you just don't care anymore. You think women are all the same, just like you think all used car salesmen are out to pull the wool over your eyes. (OK maybe that is debatable). It's funny though because some people believe one of the problems with Long Island women is that they have the JAP mentality, the Jewish American Princess. I'm Jewish, and I see many women who still feel this way. They got everything because they were Daddy's little girl, and still are. That's why I think they gravitate toward the lawyers, the doctors, the business professionals. Although in some way, I think that will hurt them, because when the guy stops lavishing them with money, they'll end up being divorced and move on to someone else. It's true what you said that we have become a judgmental society and the person we judge is ourselves. We are all our worst enemies, no one sees our flaws the way you and I do. For example, a guy may tell a girl she's pretty, the girl may go home and stare at herself in the mirror and feel she's fat. This society, unfair or not, judges us on every level: our image, our job, how much money we make. (Which amazed me when I read your book and you said you've seen some guys who make next to nothing date wealthy female executives). The one thing I take pride in, more than anything, is that I like to think I am genuine and original. The world has too many people who are fake..they'll be your friend, and soon as the back is turned, out comes the dagger. I remember you mentioned in "Always Talk To Strangers" the story about Steven (ironically the same name), the guy who lived in L.A. who had so much trouble meeting people. You said L.A. is a Type-A city, a city where people are impressed by power and material things. I have to say New York, and definitely DC fall into that category. I'd like to be proven wrong. I guess in closing, I'll address another comment you made when you posted that letter to everyone. (The one that goes "Dear Friend," and talks about how you got started as a dating coach). You said that it really makes you angry when people say "Isn't dating advice for losers?" These days, it seems like everyone has advice, and it's the wrong ones that often destroy you. My best friend's only advice about dating is this: "When in doubt, whip it out." That's probably why he's still single. It does take a real man to stand up and admit there's a problem. We all have our pride. It's like addicts-we've heard cases of people addicted to drugs or alcohol, who refuse to accept they have a problem...until something traumatic happens. It could be a loss of a job, a boyfriend/girlfriend.....and that shocks them so much that they finally admit they have a problem. Well I do....I admit I know nothing about women. It's hard enough for me to approach someone with my speech. For so long, I felt like it was better to be silent unless spoken to, like a child. I don't even remember the last time I was out on a date. Hell, I don't even remember what it felt like to imagine kissing a girl on the lips and having it mean something. So I guess I took a giant step forward. 2008 will be different...it has to be. It will be. By the way, if I can ask, you might want to consider doing a blog on Internet personal ads. I think you may have done so, but it's amazing how many times we see variations on the same theme. Happy New Year 2008....and I've come to play. Most importantly, I've come to LEARN. Steven I would love to talk to Joe.....I liek him believe that the Jets are a cursed franchise. Living in LA isolates me from the long suffering Jet fan and i think Kellen Clemens is the 2nd coming of Browning Nagle. As for Mangini from what my friends have shared this year was one of the worst coaching jobs they have ever seen, You cant be Belechek right aawy and that brings me to another dating analogy. Embrace who you are every day challenge yourself out of your comfort zone every day and embrace small wins and one day you become Bill B. Scarsdale was a very bland place to grow up.....so many spoiled people in one area tends to make me want to vomit. Though i do live in Brentwood so not much of a stretch just an LA version and now beoing an adult none of the little things bother me anymore. Its amazing when we grown up how things change for us. I have written quite a few blogs on internet dating and will write one and post a new one this week. Thanks for the great posts!!!!! Happy New Year.

David W, I have the master series and the audio of women talking about how to pick them up. Right now, all this is new information to me and is a bit of an overload. So I am having a hard time figuring out how to process it all and in what order. Which bits are the most critical to start with? How do you suggest someone who has known only failure in this realm of their life, motivate themselves to get out of their comfort zone and do the things you suggest in the master series? I do appreciate your products and this blog, since I didn't say that in my first post, I just need lots of help.

Steven, Living in New England, naturally I'm a Pats fan. I used to live in New York so I'm also a bit of a Giants fan. You said without his team around him Brady wouldn't look all that fancy, and the Pats wouldn't be where they are. True. But the way I see it, the blog is all about how he was down and out. He was a 6th string at Michigan, and was the definition of a diamond in the rough in the draft. It was his attitude towards himself and the game that got him to where he is now, and he has had three different variations of players to win three Super Bowls. If you hear him talk about how he got there, and the way he looks at himself, he wants more. He is relentless with everything he does, and knows the power of his mindset. Regardless, when it comes to your speech impediment, look into ways of getting rid of it. I know it's obvious, and I'm sure you have, but have faith. Or as a comedian once said about his stutter, "I consider it a drum roll, it adds drama."

Steven, As a former heavy stutterer (and current slight stutterer...just learned how to smoothly avoid words starting with p or t:-) ) I totally understand where you are coming from and what you have been experiencing. Other people just can not realize what we go through. Amazingly I got a lot better through two things: one, I came to this country and started pretty much all over...it is amazing how much better I am speaking English than my native tongue (yes it goes back to childhood days filled with terror attempting to speak!) and relentless exercises EVERY DAY...no pain no gain. You got to be like Brady or a Lexus as in the "relentless pursuit of perfection" which is I think the best tagline ever invented....I once met a girl who she thought my stuttering was cute, I was in heaven:-) I am not sure how that helps but excuse me while I step outside to start shoveling about 5 inches of snow and counting;-) And Happy New Year to all and of course David! David: How about expanding your repertoire teaching some techniques to married people who are looking to become committed adultererers....I hope I do not receive emails now from Evangelical fanatics wanting to save me from Hell:-)
