Don’t Be The Stander By David Wygant

The other night I went out with some new-found friends who, by the way, were very cute women. One of them in particular was someone with whom I’d really like to spend about four hours in a dark room. Details to follow another day and another time …

There seems to be a major disease going around called “The Stander.” This is usually the guy who has a drink in one hand and a look of pain on his face (which might be due to the fact that he’s been standing in the same spot all night and his feet hurt). Or, even deeper, he’s the guy with total fear in his mind about striking up a conversation with women.

Guys, women notice when you’re The Stander. They see how miserable you are, and they’re not going to come over, give you a big hug and tell you everything is going to be okay. If this sounds like you, and you’re the guy who is hovering in the background terrified to say anything, you need to start applying some of these principles:

1) Talk to anybody who’s near you. I don’t care if it’s the bus boy who doesn’t speak a word of English or another fellow Stander. You need to change your energy and show women that you’re alive. Right now they look at you like you’re an extra from HBO’s tv show Six Feet Under.

2) Lose the cement shoes. Change your position so you don’t look like you’re from London’s famous Madam Tussaud’s wax museum. By changing positions, women will not see you standing in the same position all night long. Also, a change of scenery may do you some good.

3) When women walk by you, smile and say hello to them. The odds are one of them will stop and start talking to you.

4) When speaking with other people, look like you’re having a good time.

The whole point of going out is to meet people. When you go out, do you stand there, do nothing and hope people are going to come over and talk to you? Think about how many times in your life that people actually came over and talked to you when you looked miserable. By applying some of the above tips, you will start to change your energy and actually start to have a good time.

As you regular readers know, I don’t force you to buy my products nor hawk my products on my blog. Today, however, I am going to make an exception to the rule. If you’re a Stander, you need to order my Men’s Audio Mastery Series immediately. It will teach you everything you need to know so you’ll no longer be standing around and waiting on a Friday night. That’s it . . . done selling! I promise not to sell again . . . It’s just I really want to get rid of all The Standers and show them how to have fun!

Enjoy part 3 of the London Coaching series. Today we talk all about how to meet someone when on vacation.
