What I read is this the parents of the 13 year old boy is considering a paternal testing since several other guys have stepped up to the plate and said they have had sex with this girl also. If I had a son and some girl said she was having my Grandchild she had better be ready to take a paternal test for I believe in protecting my son. Also if she is lying she better find the right father that is all I can say for this. Also if one of my daughters were unwed and came to me and said I am pregnant at the age of 15 years and went to the parents of the boy and they wanted a paternal testing I feel they have a right as well. But things happen and since I raised girls it is kind of hard to say what I would do. But I wonder what a 15 year old girl would be doing messing around with a boy that young that could not even support his dog right now. I guess she is hoping the parents will pay her child support but they were not the ones who gave birth to this individual. A child raising a child.

Oh I can tell you some tells I have heard awhile back like one woman that claimed this man was the child's father and the mother of the man said I want a paternal test. When they went to court she had been with 5 other men. Now when I heard this I said I wonder if she is going to do a paternal test on every man in Tennessee.

I say, where the fuck are these kids parents and why hasn't CPS intervened in what seems to be parental neglect, particularly in the case of the 12 year old boy. My other guess is the girl may have a history of abuse (althoguh hard to tell) based on her age, partner choices and promiscuity. The kids and grandkid probably all need new parents.

Marina, The only sex education I got was in school and at camp and since I was "the artistic outcast" it obviously didn't go well for me. My dad caught me "exploring" myself when I was 13, yelled at me and made me feel ashamed and then never talked to me about sex again until I was 21, and then he only did it for humor and for jokes. My mom always thought it should be his job. Guess the schools didn't teach me enough. Or more realistically, sex education needs to be taken seriously and it needs to come from the parents as well as a source like the classroom. If one or the other fails, I think there needs to be a place people can turn to for advice when their system of information fails them. Mike

That is why they had chaperones back in their day for they knew once the parents were out of sight then those two would be up to having sex. but there is one thing my dad told me about him and mom if they wanted each other bad enough they would find a way to be together. I think you have a tendency to speak your mind freely and I respect that. Mike My dad and I had a talked awhile back and I agree with him on one thing. There are guys who have nothing better to do then to sit there in front of a computer and talk to women where ever they want. Who knows he could be talking to someone else right now. Also my dad said to me you can meet some guy in your neighborhood. I keep saying that it's all about perspective. I'll wager that the parents of this child-father thought that he was as innocent and unknowing as they were at his age. And in an information age, it's surprising that he was so clueless yet probably more common than we'd like to believe. K, thank you for the words of encouragment and advice. I value frienships and I hate the thought of them being broken over something like this, but I think it would be much harder for me if after sex there was an even bigger chance that the friendship would be more in jeopardy because of the very personal nature of what the two friends shared. I beat myself up about it for too long to worry about losing a friend once and a while. I am actually a very positive and love my life kind of guy. I just spent years getting discouraged and I really only started telling people a few years ago. I have lots of stories to tell. Stick around and watch. Sandra, you can't be my mother because you're acting much more like my big sister (and that is a compliment). I am trying to be free and honest with what I say on this site, especially when it makes my emotions jump like your comment. If I hide behind how I feel I won't get anywhere. I'm glad you're speaking to me again. Part of what happens with my cycle of behavior is I dread telling the friend in question and I imagine (like David teaches I need to focus on being in the moment and not let these voices take charge) all the disaster scenarios I can think of and of course that gets my mind into a negative place and finally I feel the need to confront when there is really no need. I attack and try and hurt people (not physically obviously, but that did happen too when I was younger) by insulting them and by not being descent. I swore at Sandra because I knew she could take it and she is like a sister to me now so I had to use my real whiny voice to get her to know that I was mad at her. We're fine now. I have a deep respect for ALL people but it is 2009 and swearing is awfully common way to speak so I don't think people get as offended as you think.

The thing is you have no kids at this point. I would figure out real fast because honestly it's like living half ass. Nobody should put anyone down. Give yourself some time alone you really can't think clear when the person is too close to you. I was married to a guy who had the ability to build me up to be able to handle everything in life. A marriage before anything else has to have the qualities of what you would expect from a best friend. If that is not the case you are going to have a rough road ahead. Granted we all know that at time things are not all 0rosy, but ultimately you have to figure out what makes you happy, and if you are not then maybe you have to chose a different path. How about a third party intervention like a counselor. Getting either sides family involved can really harm long term if you do end up workking it out.

True and you see I tried to talk to him about a marriage counseling and he refuses and even his mother told him he needs to be in an anger management. But what was worse of it is that he keeps on calling me and asking me when i am coming home.
