When women see each other for the very, very first time in a long time, they usually jump up and down and shrill and shriek.

They always shriek something like, “Oh my God, Beckyyy, I haven’t seen you in so long!”

It’s like nails on a chalkboard to men.

Can you imagine if two men did that?

“Oh my God, Bill, I haven’t seen you in sooo long!”

Grunt. Fart.

The difference between the two sexes is amazing.  A man doesn’t get that excited if he hasn’t seen a friend in a while—no grunting in ecstasy with each bro-hug.  That’s not how men roll.

The sexes are so different; it’s amazing how we can even get along in the first place.

Another funny difference between the sexes is the long goodbye.

Women are always about the long goodbyes.  If you ever go with a woman to a store, and she runs into a friend of hers, they’ll have a conversation, and though you’re ready to leave, she’ll still continue with the conversation.

Then the goodbye: she’ll say it once, and you’re thinking, “Thank God, I’m out of here.”

But then conversation picks up again and then they say goodbye again. She shrills and shrieks when she first saw her friend, now the shrilling and shrieking is over, but she’ll say goodbye four times before she finally leaves.

Men are not about long goodbyes either.  When I leave my friends, I look at them and I say, “See ya” and I walk out the door.

I don’t need to go and get another hug, I don’t need to jump up and down, I don’t need to be all excited. I just want to say goodbye.

It’s a wonder we even get along!

So tell me, what are some of your favorite man/woman differences?

Some of them annoy me, some of them make me laugh, some of them make me fall in love.

We’re so different but we can’t live without each other.

Isn’t it funny?
