My most memorable date was one where I was unbelievably attracted to my date (both physically and mentally) AND managed to spend the date laughing and having a great time. The date culminated out by my car in the best hour long kiss I've had in a long, long time ... Even though it was not a date that turned into a relationship, a great summer date start to finish :)

Hey DarkPoet, I actually knew the guy pretty well already because he is a friend of a great friend. We've known each other for quite a while and have a lot of common interests so we keep running into each other. I just wanted to see him on purpose. Plus, we were in a friend's wedding together. Dinner was his idea and I figured it was safe considering he'd already walked me down the asile.

My hottest summer night was when I was in Maui, a couple of months ago. I was in a crazy club in Kihei. Which is a town of the east side of the island. I was hanging out with someone from Socal, who was teaching me about the locals. When I spotted a girl taking pictures of people dancing. Using David's techniques,I asked her if she was gonna put them up on myspace. She laughed out loud. Her reply was that she had a myspace. They weren't really for that. They were for her amature portfolio. We laughed & talked some more. Then I suggested we go get out of the hot club. To a place cooler like the beach. It was picture perfect down by the waves, full tahitian moon. Technically, I'd say it was my best hot/cold summer night...

This is one of those times that I might regret, but being the curious person that I am, I just have to ask... Why was V's post so hilarious? I found it amusing in that way that I find watching dogs play games of which one can whiz the highest on the telephone pole funny. Personally, I don't think a guy should smack a woman who's willing to play with his dick, but that may just be a case of why differences are appealing.

Bertie Strip clubs are so ridiculous....walk into one and look at the men oogling at the women that they think are going to be theres. The reason why Vs story was funny was that it was not the typical strip club story....guy goes in gets a dance gets all frustrated and goes home angry. It was not the typical strip club story...It was not exactly the post i was looking for when i asked people what there hottest night of the summer was. I was thinking something more in line with a date....or some amazing weekend fling. But as always each person is different to what they find hot!! I do not step foot into strip clubs and I have had some really hot summer nights....but enough about me what about you? Care to share a night with all of us?

uh actually it was an afternoon with someone I didn't expect I was going to really click with, but he was good with the conversation and wasn't bs ing me he did know the difference between an ionic and a covalent bond. Interestingly enough he was (blush) quite awesome with his hands too. Yes I noticed that when I took my friend who in all her 43 years on this planet had not seen male strippers. All these women lined up in their finery and make-up and new dos thinking some little slip of a 20 something is going to dance up to her and take her away from this little podunk town. It was quite amusing. The eye candy was quite attractive. My friend was shocked when all she could think about this 20 something as he's lap-dancing her is....He's young enough to be my son! It was all in good fun....but not something I'll do again unless I'm exceedingly bored and want to watch women make asses out of themselves. I think I've run out of friends who've never seen male strippers.

Joe My favorite line in a strip club is this. When they walk over and ask me it i would like a lap dance...I will ask them if they would like me to dance and tease them.. I then describe the sensual dance i am going to give them and the payment options. I think I have been to a strip club 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years....No interest in getting teased.

You know, I when I read this blog today, my first thought was-"Won't be posting anything there today." Anyone who has been here for awhile knows my story. 17--married---3 beautiful kids---26 years--cheating husband---THE END! Through tears I share my story of our first summer together. As I reflect back, there were a few--very few good years, good times. The first summer we shared together was when just the thought of seeing him would make my heart race and my eyes smolder. We were energizer bunnies then, so passion was in full supply. Practically everyday when he would get home from work, or days off we would go to the beach in CA and swim and sun all afternoon, then go home and shower and sex all night! I remember the heat that radiated off of our bodies because of the sun, and how his smooth tan skin turned me on! It felt so so good to do our thing and then fall asleep to the humming sound of the fan cooling our bodies off. For variety, we would at times grab a blanket, a bottle of wine, I'd grab my guitar and we would walk to "the bluffs" as we called them, overlooking an ocean to ocean view as the sun was setting behind Catalina Island. He painted, very talented at it I must add, so he would take a canvas and his paints here and there, and paint replicas of the sunsets. Beautiful beautiful paintings. Smooching and making out after the sun set behind the island was common and exciting every time. We were in a secluded area, "our spot," so no harm done. Yea. There it is. The only steamy summer ever to be had with this man. It was wonderful. It is sad how we can be so hurt by someone that we supress those memories in order to let the heart go through a mending, or at best, a patching process. Through sharing this, although the tears flowed, I am assured that I am stronger than I ever thought possible and life goes on. There are more memories to transpire with someone who is worthy of my heart. I loved, he lost! Thank you for letting me share my best ever summer from days gone by.

I don't know if I can consider this my hottest summer night, but I'll consider it one of my most memorable ones. I invited a new friend of mine to go hiking after she was done with work. At first, she was hesitant. The weather channel said it'd be 98 degrees outside. I thought about it for a second and then decided for myself: "Oh hell no. We are going. I've already made time for this. We are just going!" So I reassured her: "It won't be that hot. We'll be in the mountains (where it's cooler), and it's gonna be evening". I picked her up and we quickly drove off. By the time we got to the state park, it was almost 7 pm. I'm always wary of hiking this late because it gets dark after 7:45 pm. Most people get scared but we were already there, so we were just gonna go. We hiked up the mountain all the way to the top (30-45 min walk?) and we got to catch the sunset. It was just gorgeous up there! Instead of walking back down right away, we found a nice spot to sit and rest. Normally, I don't bring food on short hikes but that night, I had crackers. As we shared our precious food, night fell upon us. It was funny how things worked out. We really weren't in a hurry to leave our little spot. I was truly enjoying our conversations. She was quite intelligent and deep. It didn't hurt that she had a nice giggle too and I learned a lot about what women talk among each other about guys and sex. On my right, I could see the bright lights of the San Fernando Valley. On my left, I could see the Pacific Ocean stretching out forever into the horizon. How couldn't I have done this before? It was almost too romantic for a first time hanging out with a girl. We laid down on the rock. I had never seen the night look so amazing before. The shiny moon was lighting everything around us in a soft blue haze. The stars were watching us. The only thing that was missing to this picture perfect moment was the shooting star. It didn't happen, but I felt very at ease. There was something magical to that moment. Maybe it was just the feeling of being connected with another person. I dunno. We walked down. My torch light guided us. She grabbed onto my arm to guide her, as not to fall. We stopped to chit chat an older couple we saw going up. They were out to watch the moon. I thought they looked beautiful together. Later on, I had fun spooking her out by slowling whispering "booooo" in her ear. You should have seen her face. By 10:30 pm, I dropped her off home. It was her first time hiking around her house. She left with a smile. You could say that nothing happened, but if you really paid attention, so many things were going on.
