I’m happy to say I’m makin’ daily progress, but man, it’s hard sometimes!

Wanna know how sick and tired I am? Lemme tell you.

In David’s Mastery series, he calls her ‘carrot girl’. I’ll just call her ‘the one that got away’.

Last week, a smokin’ hot woman comes in for dinner the restaurant that I work in. I’m talkin’ gorgeous face, bangin’ body, the whole nine. She’s with a friend (who ain’t bad, either). She’s makin’ eyes at me the ENTIRE night. She’s smilin’ at me and lighting up the entire room at the same time. They look like the friendliest, nicest, sweetest people. What did I do? I nutted up. I did nothing! Couldn’t think of a single thing to say. Fuckin’ monkey chatter commandeers my brain.

Before they leave, she hits me with this lingering gaze that I will never, ever, EVER forget. I go to pick up their checks after they’re gone, and there’s a note on her check for me! I won’t say what it said, but I will say this: ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!! lol.

I chalked this one up in the ‘loss’ column. After bitch-slapping myself, having a good laugh at it, I gained valuable knowledge and experience from this event. Betcha I do better next time.

That’s how sick and tired I am! Way to go, Adam. Got me all worked, haha. But thanks again for the advice.

you mentioned being needy…why are you needy…are you seeking someones approval. Make the decesion right now not to seek anyones approval and you will have a massive shift immediately. Being yourself means making the decesion first…make that decesion now! Many people often have sudden shifts when enough is enough and you want to change bad enough…people get sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and then…bam…a shift happens..and the road seems clear. How sick and tired are you? I want to know?…

You know, I have to say, this is a fantastic article. I was just coming upon this revelation this morning, ironically before I read this post. Just one of those little signs in life that says you’re on the right track. Anyways, all this bullshit that the other guys in the industry teach that says “don’t be yourself, because yourself is what go you in this situation to begin with.” This couldn’t be farther off. How many people act differently around their friends and family compared with women? I don’t know anyone who is genuine in both situations. If more men or women would act like they do around their close friends and family, they would be TREMENDOUSLY more successful. It’s when you put up a false persona to “try” to attract women, or men for that matter, that doesn’t work.
