I'd definitely "break the rule" and go into the ladies' room as long as no women were in line.

It's just a bathroom! Who cares if it says men or women on the door.

This reminds me of the time when I went shopping for sweaters with my g/f at Macy's. I wait for my g/f to try on various sweaters in the hall of the ladies' changing room.

And as I wait for her to show me her various sweaters, this random customer tell me: "This is the WOMAN's fitting room" with a very mean tone.

I'm thinking to myself "And?" I'm not actually GOING IN the woman's fitting room. I'm just in the hall that separates all the fitting rooms. Who cares?

Why do people get so stuck on rules beats me.

of course to PEE! I'll go the ladies' room. Thanks to Men's Health, they informed me that holding in your urine can cause a problem to your bladder. So why the hell would I want to hold it in? So, yeah, let it out!!! :D

I have, and would absolutely take a leak in the female restroom.

You see rules and observe norms just about anywhere you go today. I have a part time job in a corporate environment and the extent to which people follow 'rules' is comedic. I don't neccessarily disike these people, rather I just feel sorry for them and wish they would loosen up.

The job is at a coffee shop, and as you may imagine, 'protocal' calls for rules on everything from dress code to change counting to garbage bags. I always do things as I see fit, and like David I would assume, do not like being told what to do, especially when I see a better solution.

The looks and reactions I get from fellow-empoyees when I go about duties in my own way are priceless! Some people a) take themseleves too seriously and b) lack the instinctive to challenge what is 'commonplace'

I hope these people they gain the confidence and initiative to act originally.

I find that working in a coffee shop is unique in that you can really learn about people's personalities and character traits.

It was the first DC bootcamp...(I'm not sure if Yakub remebers this), but while waiting in line at Starbucks to use the restroom, Yakub started a conversation with the girls next to us who were waiting to use the restroom too.

We had been teasing Yakub all wknd about the amount of tea that he drinks during bootcamps, and then somehow that came up in the conversation. "Yeah we call him the tea guy," I said and the girl responded with "Well that's alot better than The Teabagger."

LMAO, I nearly lost it! That was the funniest response ever! I don't think Yakub and the girl's friend got the joke, but I couldn't help but laugh out loud!

*Teabagging of course refers to putting you balls on somebody else's face
