But The Ugly Truth? Gimme a break. I mean, it was just a cute, simple movie. It actually dealt with the fact that attraction and love are totally different beasts, and sacrificing your integrity for attraction (or anything else) totally destroys the possibility of meaningful love (or anything meaningful) further down the line.

That’s a concept that it’s important to introduce to a child. I think our kids get too much violence in their culture, not too much romance. Replace every bit of violence or stylized violence in movies / cartoons (that includes Pokemon battles) with romance, love, and even sex if well-intended (i.e. as an expression of love rather than just physical intercourse). I think you’d see a much healthier, happier society.

Cmon now you know i am full of inspiration and kick ass in your face make you feel so wonderful about life most of the time.

Today i really wanted to touch on a deeper topic and get people thinking.

I have known a lot of women who have been dated raped by what you would consider very normal great guys.

Its all about upbringing and the movie is just a part of the upbringing I did not ever say that all 3 year olds that get dragged to R movies will be date rapists:)

uh, yeah. I don’t think anyone is going to argue with you about it being wrong here. So I don’t know where you were going with that.

I was hoping for a little inspiration today. Instead I got “that cute little three year old kid may turn into a date rapist in college.” again, wtf dude. Most people don’t grow up to be rapists regardless of what movies they watched when they were young.

Rape is all about violence, so I’d venture to say it has more to do with upbringing.

Violent homes probably produce violent people!
