I woke up this morning next to a beautiful woman and had these thoughts to share with you.
Think about this: there’s a woman that you’re friends with and she convinces you to go on a blind date. How many times has that happened?
Or, your woman friend is throwing a party, and she says that all of her good-looking friends are going to be there. You go to the party, and you look around, and you say to her, “well where are all of your good-looking friends?” and she says, “they’re all here!”
This biggest clue that men can take from this is that women basically think all of their friends are beautiful. That’s what they do: they look from the inside out – while men look from the outside in.
This is something that men don’t grasp. If you look at the way women think about their friends, you might not find them appealing, but women find them incredibly sexy and beautiful.
Basically, it’s the same exact thing when women look at a man. You can never compare yourself to other guys, because women will look at you from the inside out. They don’t know that they’re attracted to you until they meet you. That’s what is phenomenal.

I think you made a great point. Beauty is really on the inside. How many of us have met someone ridiculously fantastic looking with the personality of a door? What makes someone beautiful is their heart, mind, and soul. Of course physical is a nice attribute but it’s important to not lose site of the fact that one’s looks may fade with age: wrinkles, sagging, weight gain, hair loss, etc. It’s important to take care of your body but equally to take care of your mind and strive to be a better person. Try to find the beauty in everyone and everything. Women tend to be less into looks than men. I guess we’re more evolved!!
David: You KNOW my friends are HOT!!!! I tried to post some photos from the other night out (3some night) but I couldn’t figure it out. Any suggestions?

Great post man, this is so true. As important appearance is you have to have more behind that to back it up. Im pretty decent looking (I hate writing stuff that sounds like bragging–this is to prove a point) and I have changed my attitude with women over the past couple years. Basically, you need to look clean and presentable, but more importantly you need to be interesting, a good listener and a bit of a challenge. You need to be a man! I used to not far with women because I couldn’t back it up on a date, I was to full of myself. With a lot of work, which I’m still doing, I’m dating 2 girls right now. Basically, you need to work on who you are as a Man in the personality department as #1.
Looks are important too. Which is why David covers style in his blogs too. So many guys where ugly jean shorts and a marathon shirt from 1996, lol. Basically, have a style that suits you and be neat and clean. Again personality is key.
Officer N is right as well! Life is about growth not staying stagnant, so no one should be doing what they were doing 3 years ago. Develop yourself, write that book, whatever it is!

Jim: I think you should read the long comment I wrote re this issue on David’s blog titled, “Do You Want A Trophy Wife.” I don’t want to bore the regulars who have already read it by reposting it. Hopefully you will see things a little differently

Jim unfortunately is right. A woman will do a guy who is rich, or one they think is rich (viz. “Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionare”), precisely becaue they are attracted to power, money and status.
It certainly isn’t a good idea from a guy’s standpoint to be flashing a lot of Benjamins in order to attract women, but this does not change the facts.
A shrewd guy can manipulate this by creating the perception of wealth, or if he is actually wealthy, dangling it out there just out of reach of those who would like to take it. I realize this is a cynical viewpoint, but parasitic golddiggers, regardless of sex, are entitled to no sympathy, and if a gollddigger gives it up without getting the coin that s/he desires, I say so be it.
As to ON’s well taken point about beautiful people having the personality of a door, this happens because beautiful people get doors opened for them all the time; they never have to learn to live by their wits. They don’t do anything to develop themselves or become more interesting because they don’t have to.
