Being a lifelong Jets fan I expected them to lose.

So my prediction of the Jets going down was all wrong.

Watch this video and check out what passion and confidence is all about.

Moments after the Jets won Bart Scott was asked how he felt.

You know, there’s a rumor going around . . . one I think has been passed down from generation to generation. The rumor is that white men can’t dance. They have no rhythm, no beat and no rhyme.

It’s funny, though, because last night I and about 30,000 other white men stood in a room and danced . . . at the Los Angeles Sports Arena watching Bruce Springsteen play. Yes, I admit that I was among the dancers in the crowd (and no there is no video of that posted on YouTube).

Here we were — 30,000 white guys dancing in the stands as living evidence to confirm the rumor that white men cannot dance — being led by another crazy little white guy named The Boss who can actually dance up a storm.

It’s amazing when you go and watch people who are full of passion and energy. I’ve written blogs about seeing Coldplay and Neil Diamond in Concert, both of which I loved. I’ll tell you something, though.

Nothing is more fun than seeing Bruce Springsteen play, hang out with his band and watching Silvio Dante from The Sopranos jam out with him. Actually, now when I see Bruce singing with Stevie all I can picture is Silvio eating with Tony at The Bada Bing!

Seeing Bruce Springsteen last night just confirmed for me that the man is a legend. The man lives a life that’s full of passion. Who cares if he’s named in some divorce thing and had a fling with somebody in New Jersey? I don’t follow any of that stuff.

I know some of you guys have been reading up on that stuff, and it’s seems kind of ridiculous. Supposedly some guy’s wife was screwing Bruce and he named Bruce in the divorce settlement or the divorce thing trying to get a little publicity or something.

Who knows? Let me tell you something important. Bruce Springsteen is all about passion. He leads a passionate life.

We talk about passion over and over again here in the blog. So I have some questions for you.

What is your passion? Really, about what are YOU passionate? I know what I’m passionate about in my life.

I’m passionate about my work. I’m passionate about my girl. I’m passionate about my friends. I’m passionate about my family. I’m passionate about my dog. I’m passionate about all the great people in my life, the things I do, the people with whom I hang, and about the work that I do. I am passionate right now about just walking the dog and writing this blog.

So what are you passionate about? What really makes you feel great? What are you really all about, and what would you tell us all about you?

Just one little “P.S.” to this blog …

I’ve just gotten an account with, and just started playing around with, Twitter. So if any of you have a Twitter account, ask me to be your friend (so I can figure this thing out!)

Have you ever met someone whom, when you’re with them, time just seems to disappear? You are talking to them for what feels like five minutes and all of a sudden you realize it’s actually been five hours.

Do you ever get lost in somebody so much that you feed off of each other’s energy? Then as you’re feeding off each other’s energy, you just want to learn more and more about that person.

You not only want to know what they’re all about, you want to know everything about them. You want to know what they were like as a kid, what they’re afraid of, what they feel, what their favorite things are, their favorite foods, their favorite bands and their favorite vacation spots. Every time you learn something about them, you want to learn more.

You want to know what they like to do, because the more you talk to them the more you get lost in this incredible world you’re in when you’re talking to them. Have you every met somebody with whom you can sit across a table at a restaurant for three hours without even one moment of silence?

I’m not really even talking, though, about moments of silence. I’m talking about how you feed off each other’s energy. It’s the way you laugh, the way you smile and the way you talk. It’s how every time one of you tells a story that the other will have a story having to do with the same subject, and you find you connect in so many different ways.

Every time you get to learn more about them, their energy keeps going into you. You feel more of their energy, get to know more of their energy and you crave more of their energy. You start to crave that connection you have with them.

You just get lost in time, and time doesn’t matter. You could be absolutely exhausted at the end of a long day when you speak with them, then all of a sudden a five minute conversation turns into a three hour conversation because you feed off of each other’s energy. It’s like a high. You get this incredible feeling when you talk to that person.

You get lost in time. Really, what is “lost in time?” Lost in time is just amazing chemistry with somebody. The reason we all spend so much time hoping and desiring to find someone is so we can have the feeling of being “lost in time.”

There’s nothing better than feeling lost in time with somebody, because time doesn’t really matter. If you think about it, there’s no such thing as time. What matters is the feelings and emotions you experience in every given situation.

So the next time you meet somebody and you get lost in a little world with them, enjoy it! That is what magic is all about . . . connecting with another person, feeding off of everything they say and wanting to learn every little thing about them. This is what you experience when you get lost in time with someone.

You know what else is magical about getting lost in time? It’s the moment you realize something magical is happening. You know it. You can feel it. Your gut and your intuition tell you. Then you savor every moment.

It’s like every phone conversation is just amazing. Every time you hang out, it’s amazing. The feeling of getting to know somebody with whom you truly connect and share intense chemistry is incredible.

I know personally that I savor every moment, because when you meet somebody with whom you get lost in time when you hang with them then you know something special and magical is happening. You need to really just embrace it and realize these “lost in time” moments are something that will put a smile on your face for a long time.

My brother and his wife are a great example of this. If you would ask my brother what the most magical feeling was when he met his wife, he would say it was the first year they spent together because that’s when they built the foundation for a lifetime of love. He remembers every conversation, the first cuddle and every kiss, because being able to experience magic with somebody is a gift.

That magic is something that all of us are craving, and that we all desire. The problem some of us have is that we are scared to death of it. We’re scared to death of letting go, so we can actually have this.

The amazing thing about getting lost in time with someone is knowing they’re on the same page with you. It takes two strong people to let down all the walls and enjoy the moment.

There is nothing more powerful than getting lost in time. I know, because I’m experiencing it and I’m enjoying every second of whatever we call time.

Stay Motivated
By David Wygant

I recently returned from a great six day trip to Hawaii. It was a trip I really needed to just clear my head, have a great time and relax. I took someone very special who means the world to me, and someone who I think is one of the greatest women in the world.

For those of you who know me, you know I’m talking about my ex, Alison, with whom I spent six and a half years. Alison and I are not together as a couple anymore due to my own issues.

You know, in life nobody is perfect or has it together all the time. In a nutshell, though, when Alison and I were together she really wanted to continue our relationship and to build the foundation for a future together with me. During the time I was building my business, however, it was really hard to do that.

There’s something about being a man, having a business and making that business exactly how you want it to be. There is something inside a man that really just aches to be ultra-successful and proud of what he does.
It took a long time to build my business because even though you are an expert at what you do, you still have to build your reputation.

You need to work with clients. You have to research. You’ve got to live it, believe in it, and be that business.

Alison and I had a great time together and a great relationship, but I just wasn’t ready to give her what she wanted. I believe there’s a saying that when you love someone, you have to be willing to let them go.

You can’t keep someone when you can’t give them the love in a relationship that they want and deserve. Thus we separated as a couple.
When Alison and I separated, I realized (and I’ve always known since we broke up), that she is an amazing woman and in fact is amazing in every way.

Now I am ready for that type of relationship and I would love to have that type of relationship with Alison, but she is no longer sure if she wants to have that type of relationship with me.
I’m not trying to dump all of my feelings and the details of my personal life on all of you, but I am telling you all of this because there is a very important lesson I want to share. Just because you’re ready for something with someone doesn’t mean the other person is ready for that at the same moment. Timing is everything when it comes to relationships.

So if someone is worth fighting for, you better fight for them every step of the way. It’s a battle out there to find someone with whom you can really connect and whom you really love. Because meeting the right person is so hard, I tell people all the time to stay focused, stay motivated, and to meet as many people they can.

In order to find the right person for you, you must go through a lot of people. You’ve got to work the numbers.

To find someone spectacular you will have to go through a lot of disappointments, a lot of near hits, and a lot of near misses.

Even if you do find a spectacular someone, if you’re not ready for it then it will not work out and you are going to have to do the whole thing again when you are ready.

Part of what I stress all the time with my clients and with all of you is how important it is to work on yourself. Work on your inner confidence. Work on who you are as a man or as a woman. Work on yourself as a person. What do you want out of life? Who do you want to be, and how do you want to be remembered?

Are you passionate about what you do for a living? If not, that’s going to affect you in all other areas of your life. If you are passionate about what you’re doing but you are not fully successful at it yet, then keep at it.

In order to be able to give to someone else, you must first complete this part of your journey. So now I feel complete. I have everything I want: a great business, great people with whom I work, and a fantastic dog who snores next to me every night.

Now I also want that spectacular person, and it would be nice if that person is Alison because finding someone as special as she is isn’t an easy task.
I’ve dated other people this year and last year, but they just didn’t work out because none of them were grounded, stable or as amazing as I always considered Alison to be. No matter who I was seeing, I always had Alison in the back of my mind.
It’s really interesting what you discover as you’re going through life finding yourself. Sometimes you realize that what you had is exactly what you want . . . but you just weren’t ready for it.

So my advice to all of you today in this blog that is so different than almost every other one I’ve written, is to work on yourself. Become that person you can respect, and others will respect and love you back!

In order to really be a powerful man in all ways you need to lead a woman sexually.

Todays podcast talks all about that.
