I first off want to thank you for all of your useful and I must say funny videos. I am sure that you get a lot of emails but it would mean more than you believe if you could help me out. As I just came across your videos on YouTube tonight.

Here it is.I am a 22 year old female and have never ever been approached by a guy. Im sure you must be thinking that I need to work on my confidence and possibly body image but it is not any of those. I am a normal girl however I am pretty shy, and I tend to be very serious when I am in public alone. Don’t get me wrong if someone comes up to start a conversation, I’m more than nice!

But as my mom always tells me I look too serious and look rather unapproachable, as if I’m not interested in any guy or that I am already with someone. I feel like my attitude my come off as being “bitchy” but that’s not it. I’m a serious girl and I know what I want. But obviously the way that i have been carrying myself has not been working for me

I especially am serious when I go to the gym, I have my music on and just in my own world. I have tried looking back at guys when they look at me. But I have this thing that if I look, and they look… It kind of cracks me up and I start laughing, I know its weird.. But its just from me being shy. That’s why I always take the serious approach and not look into guys eyes.

I would realllly appreciate ANY advice you can give me. There are a lot of potential guys that I was interested in but things never happened cause of me and me being shy! Especially at the gym!

Today lets dive into the world of men and how to attract men.

The other day I was asked this question that I felt I needed to address:

“David, If I stare at a man, won’t he think I’m coming on to him?”

You know what my answer was to this? So what!! Men are not wired like women. We don’t think about every little, tiny thing.

If our ass itches, we itch it. If you we have to blow our nose, we blow it.

We don’t wonder why our ass itches. If a woman’s ass itches, she wonders “Why does my ass itch? Did I do something to make my ass itch? Did I eat something that made my ass itch?”

Women have to find out why for everything they do. “Why does this guy like me? What does this mean?” It doesn’t mean anything!!

You have to think like a man! If you like a man, stare at him. Speak man! Be obvious.

We need you to be obvious. If you’re obvious, we’ll walk over like a puppy dog.

We don’t want to sit there and think all night long and wonder what you’re casual glance means. We want you to smile at us, talk to us.

We’re not thinking if you look at us that you’re easy. All we’re thinking is that you’re looking at us. We almost want to high-five you!

So women – if you want to meet men, get your head out of your ass! Start staring and be obvious!! You’ll have more men coming over than you’ll ever want to date.

If you want to be coy, you won’t get the boy. If you’re tired of going home alone every night, nothing is going to change until you change your energy.

If you want to meet men, what I suggest is start thinking like a man! Start listening to the advice that I give to men. Start listening to some of my podcasts. Listen to how I teach men to overcome their fears, and you’ll learn so much about overcoming your fears.

Last question: When’s the last time you saw a man you’re attracted to, you took a risk, smiled at him, and made him come over with the powers of your sexuality? If it’s been longer than a week, then you’re not doing it right.

It’s time to stop listening to your mother’s crappy advice, and the even crappier advice of some of those horrific books. If a man doesn’t come over and talk to you, it’s because you did not know how to bring the man over. Start taking responsibility for your own dating life, and you’ll start improving it immediately.

I was with the guys today (“the guys” are Rey and Rich – Rey the assistant and Rich the intern.) We went to Whole Foods today, and I started flirting with this single mom in line while we were checking out. She was very pretty, very sexy, and very nice – and attached to a five-year-old.

The five-year-old was great – really cute and amusing, but he needed ALL of his mother’s attention. When we left the market, one of the guys said, “oh wow, that mom was really attracted to you! Why didn’t you ask her out?”

I responded, “well, there really wasn’t the time – her kid was pulling on her arm!” It was really hard to talk to her, and you also have to respect the fact that she is with her child. But she was definitely vibing me and I probably would have asked her out if I would have had the opportunity – when her little boy wasn’t pulling on her.

I also don’t particularly want to ask her out if she’s not a single mom! I wouldn’t want her kid to go home and say, “daddy, daddy, guess what happened today? Mommy got asked out by this guy in Whole Foods!”

So I’ve got some advice for all of you single mothers out there: if you are out with your kids and a guy starts talking to you, he is exactly what you want because he already knows that you have children!

So many single mothers have this issue about dating – “how am I going to date? How will I meet someone? Nobody wants me when I have a kid!” But it’s not true!

If we are flirting with you and we see that you have a kid attached to your arm, we don’t care! We don’t care if you are a mom; we want to date you – plain and simple.

If you’re a single mom and you’re out with your kids, you have to lie down some clues and hints for the guy you’re flirting with. You have to stop for a second. Obviously, don’t kick the kid out into the street – “hey, mommy will be right back!” – nothing that blunt, but maybe say something like, “yeah, he’s just lacking male attention,” or “he just gets jealous when his mom talks to another man” – something funny.

This will let the guy know that you want to be asked out. We’ll ask you out very quickly once we know that you’re open to it, but you need to say something that permits us to do it.

We totally understand that you are a mom, we understand that you’re hanging out with your kid; but we don’t want to ask you out if we’re not sure that you are single.

We don’t want the kid going home and being scarred for life after seeing his mom getting hit on at Whole Foods. You never know what could happen – he could end up with pure approach anxiety or turn out to be some seducing ladies man after watching his mom get hit on all of the time.

Lay down some clues for us! Clues are always good. We need them once in a while. And do you know what? If I ever see you without your kid, I will definitely ask you out. But the next time I see you with your kid, give me a clue!

I’m gutsy, and I’ll ask out everybody – but I’m also very respectful of a lot of things.
