They’ll say, “I just can’t figure it out. I go to bars. I go to parties. I go to all the “it” places. But I just don’t know why I am not meeting more people.” Here is what I tell everyone who asks me that question

A few years ago I wrote a book called “Always Talk to Strangers.” It was the first book I ever wrote. I was in a Whole Foods-like market in Malibu the other day, and I was “BlackBerrying out” texting on my phone (which is something I tell you guys never to do!) I caught myself doing this (and you should too). You should never be on your hand held device in public oblivious to everything going on around you, because you will miss opportunities that present themselves.
