How do you contact a woman on Facebook?

First, you have to look at your mutual friends. Obviously, you couldn’t be looking at her profile if you don’t have a mutual friend. You’re not cruising Facebook – you’re just looking through other people’s friends.

Joe Smith sends you a friend request, and you don’t know him, so you look at his friends. You see Mary Thompson is one of his friends, and you add her as a friend.

And of course Mary Thompson confirms you as a friend – because the internet is a fucking popularity contest and everyone wants a lot of friends! Facebook and MySpace are like having 5,000 friends that you never talk to! They could give a fuck about me, but they are still all of my buddies.

But when I show up as their happy friend, it makes them feel popular. Being on the internet is like regressing back to junior high school. Don’t you feel bad on Facebook when you see someone with like two friends? You think to yourself, oh, what a loser, he’s got two friends! It’s ridiculous; it’s such a popularity contest.

So anyway, you go to this woman’s profile and add her as a friend. She will always add you, and then you send her an email.

Subject line: Man, Joe knew we would be…

I always like the dot-dot-dot because when it comes down to marketing yourself, you have to think like a business. Most people in the subject line of an email write “hello.” What the fuck, hello? Delete.

But you know when you get good junk email, and you swear that you don’t want to open it, and when you do open it, you’re like, oh shit, I got caught again! How did you get caught? They had a good subject line, right? So your subject line has to be something good that will make her want to open your email.

And then the body of the email: …that we would be great friends, so I added you. So now that you’re my really good friend, can you help me out with one thing? Who the hell is Joe Smith? He just appeared one day as my friend, and I’m hoping you can hope me unlock the mystery of Joe Smith. ☺

You do the smiley face so that she knows that you are funny and clever.

She’s going to open it, giggle and laugh, and she’s going to answer you back. You just became her buddy. Then your messages will go back and forth just like any other email exchange.

You have to get clever. Most guys are so bad at emailing.

Have you ever spent time with somebody with whom you look forward to spending every minute? You know, in life it’s so interesting how we date and date and date and date even more – all in an effort to find that someone we look forward to hanging out with and with whom we want to spend every minute.

Have you ever spent twenty-eight hours with somebody and it felt like one minute? Twenty-eight hours in which the conversation never ceased to stop? Twenty-eight hours in which the excitement kept building and where the connection kept getting stronger as each minute passed?

Life is a gift. It’s time all of you started accepting the gift of life, because when you do what will happen is that you will actually start to meet people who are going to blow you away. When you’re open and you’re being honest, that is when you’re going to find someone who is also open and honest and then life is just going to seem to mesh.

You will be on the same page with this person about everything you think and feel. It’s amazing when you spend twenty-eight hours with somebody, and when they leave all you want to do is start another twenty-eight hours with them all over again. You don’t want that person to leave. You just want them to stay.

Of course we all have responsibilities in our lives. We all need to work. We all have things we need to do. We need to make money. We need to see our friends. We need to see our family. When someone leaves you after spending twenty-eight hours together and all you can think about is getting to spend twenty-nine (or even thirty-six) hours with them the next time you see them, however, you are in the midst of something amazing.

It’s about building. It’s about desire. It’s about experiencing someone so much that when they leave, you think about how amazing your time together was and look forward to more. That is what chemistry is all about.

Chemistry is about connecting with somebody on every level, and having a very peaceful feeling as you connect with them. It’s is knowing that whatever you say is safe. It is knowing that whatever you’re feeling, they are on the same page with you.

Every word that is said and every moment that is exchanged is building a memory. It’s building things the two of you can talk about in the future. It is the foundation of a relationship.

The first few months you are hanging with someone is building the foundation for what you hope will be an amazing relationship for a long time. So for those of you who are dating someone new, enjoy every moment and every memory because those memories and moments are precious.

There will be a time when you will no longer see that person for twenty-eight hours and will see them all the time. You’ll be so entwined in each other’s lives, and you’ll get there naturally. You’ll get there because each twenty-eight hour period is building the desire to spend more time with each other, to get to know each other better, and to experience more and more of each other.

Connecting with another soul on a deep level like this is amazing and is the best feeling you could ever have, because it’s a connection with no thought process that is 100% natural. That feeling is something that is really going to last and which will really build into more intense feelings.

I think the greatest thing you can have in life is being so content with yourself and so happy, that you are able to truly think about someone else and how you feel about them. I must admit that it’s addicting, and it’s an addiction that everyone needs to feel.

What are your thoughts on this? Are you dating someone about whom you feel this way? If you are dating someone and you don’t have this feeling about them, then you need to move on because this feeling is one that we all need to experience.

There is no other feeling you should experience with someone, because if you’re not feeling this way it means that you’re not connecting with that person on enough of a deep and soulful level. It’s all right if you discover you’re not with someone for whom you feel this way, because you can feel confident that if you move on that there is someone out there waiting for you with whom you will experience this feeling.

If you believe that this type of connection with someone is possible, it will show up. When it does, you need to embrace it because that person could be the love of your life. You’ve got to embrace every little moment of it, because the more you do the better it becomes.

You know, I get asked this question all the time from women: “David, what is the one thing I can do to make a guy want me more on a date but won’t make me seem overly desperate?” The answer to that question is definitely yes. I also know that there are a lot of guys who are going to thank me for writing this blog.

One of the absolute best things you can do to make a guy want you more on a date, is at the end of the date to lean in toward him letting your lips touch his ear as you whisper “I had a great time tonight.” Then you walk away.

Let his eyes follow you as you leave. He will follow the shape of your body as you walk away, and you will leave him wanting more.

You didn’t kiss him on the lips. You didn’t kiss him on the cheek. You didn’t give him a hug or a handshake. You didn’t do anything except whisper in his ear.

Do you know why this works? It works because it clearly and unambiguously communicates exactly what you want to him, i.e., that you are interested in him (and in him wanting you) but in a way that doesn’t seem at all desperate.

Think about the alternatives. None of them achieve both these objectives. If you kiss him on the cheek, then he will immediately think you are putting him in the friend zone. If you kiss him just on the lips (and don’t involve at least a little bit of tongue), then is going to be wondering if you might just be friendly.

If you whisper in his ear, however, he will get so turned on that from that moment forward he will be just like a puppy dog coming after you. What happens when someone whispers in your ear – even if it’s to say “I’ll be right back” or “It’s so great to see you” or whatever it may be – it immediately makes you remember some great sex you had with someone who whispered certain things in your ear.

So this is one little trick you can use to not only fill a guy with desire for you, but which will get that guy to call you right away. Doing this will not in any way make a guy think you are going to sleep with him right at that moment. The only thing you will lead a guy to think when you do this is that you are one cool woman.

Are you wondering how I know this? I know this because every time a woman has ever done it to me, I couldn’t get my head out of the clouds for hours.

Stop trying to think about sexual escalation all of the time!

Do you know how to turn a woman on?

You turn her on by the way you walk, by the way you talk, and by the way you listen to her. You turn her on in the way that you are animated.

Every guy has one successful approach and then they think, oh man, next time I want to be able to escalate sexually. How do I do that?

It’s so ridiculous. You can’t do it! You’re not there yet. If you understood the true nature of sexuality, you would know that the way to really turn a woman on is through her mind.

When I first started doing this, there was no way in the world that I would touch women I don’t know like I do now. I was terrified – if I even got close to a woman I was freaked out.

You have to stop thinking about that sexual escalation – all you have to do is connect to her, talk to her, get her phone number – and you’ll have sex! You really will.

Women will start sleeping with you much more than you ever imagined – because you’re one of the few guys that has ever really listened.

So, you want to escalate? Find an escalator!

Client: So you’re saying that if you take the sex out of the equation, the sex will come?

David: Yeah. I never think about sex, ever. I even tell the guys that work for me that I could care less if I ever get laid again. And then they ask me what I did the night before, and I tell them, “well I just hung out with that girl and we had sex.” I just don’t think about it.

For women, sex starts in the mind. They don’t have a dick that gets hard every time the wind blows. They don’t get hard looking at pictures. They don’t think, “oh wow, a naked guy!” Pictures alone don’t turn them on.

They do get turned on by your mind and by your presence. Your confidence turns them on. That’s what it takes – confidence. It’s the way you walk, it’s the way you talk, and it’s the way you move.

If you approach a woman and touch her randomly just to “escalate,” she’s going to look at you like you’re a fucking creep. If you’re all nervous and your hands are shaking towards her, she’s going to think, oh my god, a human vibrator!

You just can’t think that way. I see guys doing this all the time. It’s like a robot – you can see the exact awkward point where they decide to escalate sexually. They think, okay, we’ve been talking for 30 seconds, now I’m going to go touch her to escalate sexually.

And these men are so stiff and uncomfortable. How does that turn her on?
