Big Announcement!

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

I was going to set up a press conference today at Green Bay Packers’ headquarters, where I was going to stand in front of a podium and have my Brett Favre moment . . . complete with tears and regret. I was going to have Sonja stand behind me with her hand on my shoulder showing her support.

As some of you know, this was going to be my last year personally coaching Bootcamps. I have an amazing team of coaches who would have carried on for me brilliantly, and they will continue to do an amazing job coaching for me.

As for my decision to stop coaching Bootcamps myself at the end of this year, though, and as the NFL field judges say, upon further review I have changed my mind. No, not about how fantastic my coaches are, but about coaching the Bootcamps myself after the end of 2009.

It’s what I love to do. Not only that, I personally believe my Bootcamps are superior to all the garbage ones that are out there being taught by pretend wannabe experts.

So no retirement from coaching Bootcamps for me. The Bootcamps will move forward with me (and my team of coaches) coaching them in 2010, 2011, 2012 and beyond. It’s going to take a serious ACL injury to get me out of the Bootcamp coaching game.

For those of you who thought I was walking away from everything, I have just one question for you. Are you crazy? I’m not going anywhere (except maybe on a few trips next year).

There are, however, some great new things I’ll be coming out with next year and in the near future. We’re already kicking off some great new ideas.

Adam (my head instructor in London) and I have come up with an amazing seminar that will be taking place in London in a few weeks which is FREE. Click here to check it out.

For the women, we’re doing a killer seminar in Los Angeles this Sunday (November 8th). Click here to learn more about it.

For anyone who don’t know my team, I’ve hand-selected and personally trained every person who works with me. Not only have I personally trained them, but they all stand alone as amazing coaches. Your experience with any one of them would be just as satisfying as your experience would be with me.

My team and I plan on doing a lot of new programs next year. One of them is going to be an incredible inner mindset seminar. Details, of course, to follow next year…

We will also be launching a new live at home coaching program. That’s right — one of us will be spending two to seven nights on your sofa in the near future!

I’ve been doing this for 14 years. Brett Favre has been playing for 18 years. As long as he keeps throwing touchdown passes, I’m going to keep changing and affecting the lives of people who attend our workshops, seminars and Bootcamps.

Of course we’ll be coming out with a slew of new products, because as the dating world changes we are always ready to show you how to change with it!

So, mandatory retirement used to be at age 65. I plan on teaching a bunch of shuffle boarders in Florida the art of meeting hot sexy 80 year olds when I’m 80.

I will have the first and only geriatric pickup bootcamp in the history of the world.
I can see it now — my pants hiked up high to my chest leading around a bunch of guys who are all on arthritis medication who want to chase after some hot, sexy, experienced older women.

Thirty years from now, everyone who attends my geriatric Bootcamp will get a week’s worth of Cialis and Celebrex. Not only that, most of the people in my Bootcamp will have enlarged prostates, so I’ll have to give out something for that too. I can already see my Bootcamps in thirty years being sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies.

In the meantime, I’m young and healthy and ready to walk the next group of guys around at the the next Bootcamp. So this is the big announcement!

For those of you who were thinking to yourself, “Where’s my dating tip of the day?”, don’t worry. Here are a few tips for you. . .

1. PUT THE TIP IN FIRST: You don’t ever want to go in backwards.

2. USE THE DAVID WYGANT/BRETT FAVRE APPROACH: For those of you who may not be having sex today (and, hence, can’t make use of tip #1), you may need an approach tip of the day. So here it is: Say to the first person you see, “Did you hear that David Wygant just pulled a Brett Favre?” You want to talk about a great opening line! You meet the right woman, and she won’t know who David Wygant OR Brett Favre are.

3. 55 DAYS TO GO: For those of you who want a date tip, here it is. It’s November 5, 2009. There are approximately 55 days left in the year and before you will hopefully be staring at someone you’re about to kiss when the clock counts down 5-4-3-2-1 to midnight on New Year’s Eve. So the time to take real action on changing your dating life is now.

For those of you who want to see a very teary-eyed video, then check out the video I recorded yesterday. It will make you feel very warm and fuzzy…

Also, for any of you who are not yet on my subscriber list, I suggest you get on there quickly, because otherwise you’re missing a lot of special offers, private seminars, and FREE videos and podcasts that I give out just to my subscribers. You can sign up now in the box in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Where Do You Masturbate?

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Last night I witnessed something that blew me away. No, one of the guys at the Bootcamp did not propose to a woman.

I saw a 3D movie, and let me tell you something. It was nothing like the days of the plastic glasses.

We saw the movie “Up,” and it was really cute. I have to say that 3D effects have come a LONG way since the days of the plastic dinosaur and the plastic glasses. They’ve come a long way since the era of “Jaws 3 – 3D” where you have very unreal body parts floating off the screen toward you.

I’m off to the Bootcamp. It’s another sunny day here in La La Land.

In today’s blog I want to raise something about which I was thinking the other day that I thought was really interesting: Where do most people masturbate?

Do most people masturbate in bed? Do people masturbate at the office (a topic on which I have done a blog by the way)?

Where is the most interesting place that you’ve ever masturbated?

Do you realize that most men masturbate in the shower, because it’s quick, easy, and clean? A lot of women also masturbate in the shower. Well, actually, a lot of them masturbate in the bathtub (because they have the pressure of the running water).

So I want to hear from you today. What is the most interesting place you’ve ever masturbated? Were you alone? Were you with a lover?

Was it perhaps even in front of a group of people? Have you ever been cheered on by thousands of people as you stroked or played with your clit?

I’m curious to know what the most fascinating way is that you’ve ever masturbated? Also, what do you think about when you masturbate?

Share with everyone today — I want to hear from you.

Have a great Saturday!!

David Wygant Has A Problem

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

In the middle of the Bootcamp yesterday, I realized something (as I always do during Bootcamps). I realized that there are some things I need to work on about myself. So I shared with the guys that I need to work on becoming more self-aware and to be a better communicator when things first start bothering me.

I grew up in a family of suppressors; a family that would sweep everything under the carpet instead of talking about it. When you’d walk into the Wygant household, you’d trip on everything that was under the doormat. I realized yesterday through one of our powerful conversations, that in my own personal life I do some suppressing of things when something bothers me.

When something bothers me, I’ll either make a joke or be sarcastic about it. Then I’ll hide it in the bowels of my subconscious, and walk around with a feeling of irritability inside me for several days. Now I know the warning signs and have to take action so I no longer sweep things under the Wygant rug.

We all are constantly working on ourselves. We all are constantly challenging ourselves. If you ever think the job is done, you’re so wrong. If you feel you’re done everything you need to do, then your life is full of people who do not challenge you to be a better, stronger and more dynamic person.

A nice, quiet and really amazing Indian man named Ajay is in the Bootcamp this weekend. He said to me “It’s nice to see David Wygant real, and that you actually have problems too.”

We all have problems. What makes me able to teach, coach and write about all this is that I’m still working through things in my own life as well. Everyone is. We’re all flawed.

So enjoy a nice little flawed Sunday (See, a little sarcastic remark has to come out!)

Oh…and one last thing. Daphne is flawed as well. She has low self-esteem issues at times. If you want to know more about Daphne’s occasional self-esteem issues, however, we’ll have to do a whole other blog on that!

Do You Desire A Blond Or A Peach?

Saturday, May 9th, 2009

Man, have I changed! I really have. I used to go to Whole Foods all the time to pick up my groceries . . . and anything else I could find. Now I’m in Whole Foods this morning picking up nothing except groceries for my girlfriend and her mother.

I’m there just picking up apricots, peaches and spinach. I used to walk around there picking up blonds and brunettes. Now the only thing blond I’m picking up in here is an apricot. Either I’ve really growing up or I’m really in love.

For those of you who really do want to pick up blonds and brunettes at Whole Foods instead of peaches and apricots, then I’m posting this blog which is much more relevant to you than to me. If you want to learn how to meet blonds and not peaches in whole foods check out how to do this from last weekend’s bootcamp, we showed how important it is to engage others in conversation and to remember details. Below is an excerpt about how these build an instant friendship.

Think about what we’ve accomplished just walking around for two hours today. We’ve been gathering momentum.

Sunday Exercises

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

A quick blog about what you can do this weekend. And if you do not have a museum head to an art store or art gallery and you can do the same exact thing.

I don’t care if you’re a man or a woman, but one of the best Sunday exercises is going to a museum or an art gallery and hanging out there.

Hang out there for two or three hours and have conversations with every single person you see. Everyone.

Walk over to them and say, “excuse me, what do you think of this painting?” or “how does this painting make you feel?” You will get into great conversations all day long.

This teaches you a few things. For one, it shows you that people don’t bite – nothing bad is going to happen to you if you talk to people.

Secondly, it’s great practice. It teaches you how to listen. You have to listen to be able to talk about the subject that you’re discussing.

Specifically in terms of artwork, there is so much going on in front of you. We’re in a museum right now, and a client just told me how easy it is in here, because there are so many things to talk about – the things on the wall, the collections, etc.

But life itself is like a museum! After you go to a museum, you can walk around your life and find anything to talk about. You find things to discuss and things to ask questions about.

Today, during a bootcamp, we started at a food market, and all of the conversations started with talking about brownies and pastries. And all of those people we talked to came back to talk to us later.

This is why observations are so powerful. In a grocery store, in a museum, in an art gallery – you have all of these opportunities to talk about the things that are going on.

10 Truths About My HUGE Announcement Yesterday

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

I want to spend today’s blog clarifying a few things about my so-called “retirement.” It seems that a lot of you are reading between the lines, and are misinterpreting what’s really going on with me.

So to help make everything crystal clear, here are 10 truths behind my HUGE announcement:

1.I will be coaching Bootcamps through December 31, 2009. After that, my coaches will run my Bootcamps starting January 1, 2010.

2.My coaches are fantastic! My Bootcamps will still be the best in the world, and I will be overseeing all of them.

3.Some of you thought the website and the blog were going somewhere. Not true! Just because I won’t be coaching Bootcamps in 2010 doesn’t mean I still won’t be sitting here all day long creating great blogs, product and content for you.

4.I’m not retiring and moving to Florida to play shuffleboard and lawn bowling all day long. I am just going to be concentrating on getting my message to the masses. By not working weekends in 2010, I will be able to work on exciting new ideas that I haven’t had time to develop including three new products that have never been released in the marketplace (which I’ll more about with you later in 2009).

5.For those of you who thought I was announcing that I was getting married, let me be clear that I am not getting married. If and when I do, and as with all things in my personal life, you will be the last to know :-) . That’s why it’s called a personal life.

6.For those of you who think Daphne will also not be coaching Bootcamps in 2010, you’re wrong. Coach Khiem and Coach Kimberly can’t do Bootcamps without her. Daphne won’t be retiring until 2012, and she still has three years remaining on a very lucrative contract. That is, unless the coaching union finds out she is taking anabolic steroids . . . although I don’t think the coaching union has yet ruled that steroid use is illegal at Bootcamps. Plus if you’ve ever seen Daphne’s activity level, the only substance that could even possibly be running through her veins is Valium.

7.I still love what I do every single day. I enjoy every single Bootcamp I coach. When I told you in the video yesterday that slots for my remaining Bootcamps would be very limited, I meant it. Some of you have emailed me asking if it is really true that the spots are going to be limited. The answer is yes – it’s 100% true. I want each and every one of my final Bootcamps to be a once in a lifetime experience for each person who takes one. So if you want to see exactly how many slots are available, next week I will be posting my final Bootcamp schedule through June 2009.

8.Even though I will not be coaching Bootcamps beginning in 2010, I will still be available to do phone and email coaching. I am not disappearing off the face of the planet, that it unless I move to New Mexico and my body gets abducted by aliens.

9.There will be a very special coaching week this summer during which eight lucky people will have a chance to live in a house and be coached by me for a week. If this is something in which you would be interested, I’d suggest you get on my newsletter list ASAP.

10.Starting in 2010, weekends are made for Michelob (and for those of you who know me, the taste of beer repulses me). So I want all of you to come up with a slogan for me . . . come up with what I should do with my weekends beginning in 2010. Keep in mind that my drug-induced days are long past, I’m not a big drinker and Daphne is lazy.

I truly appreciate all of the comments I’ve been getting – it’s great to be missed before you even gone. I feel like Brett Favre. Wouldn’t it be great if a tv station interviewed me when I’m in my Bootcamp uniform of jeans and a t-shirt and I was covered with mud because we’d just come from hiking . . . then three months later we found out that Daphne traded me to the New York Jets? Now THAT truly would make me cry!

So for those of you who have been confused about my announcement yesterday, look at today’s video.

A HUGE Announcement!

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

I have been spending a lot of time thinking about something that really means a lot to me. Life, to me, is all about balance. Life is all about pursuing what you want to pursue.

After eleven years of coaching, I’ve made a very BIG decision: This is going to be the LAST year I will be coaching Bootcamps and my last year doing one-on-one coaching in person.

This doesn’t mean that I will not have Bootcamps after this year. It means that after this year my Bootcamps will be coached entirely by my team of coaches. It means is that 2009 will the last year I am going to personally coach any Bootcamp.

My life has changed a lot over the last eleven years. I am now in a relationship, and there’s something about going out meeting women every weekend that just doesn’t resonate with me anymore. This is, therefore, going to be my last year personally coaching Bootcamps.

Now don’t get me wrong . . . I’m not getting married and moving to Canada for some free healthcare or anything. It’s just that my goal now is to reach as many people as possible, which I feel I can best do through the Internet, via phone/email coaching and through my Community Site.

I’m going to post my entire year’s schedule on the website. Be aware, though, that I am keeping all of my remaining Bootcamps very small and intimate, so slots will be very limited.

Once these slots are sold out, that’s it. I won’t be adding any additional Bootcamps or slots to the schedule.

So if you want to learn from me in person and have me personally teach you the skills I teach, then I’d contact me at david@davidwygant.com as soon as possible and secure a spot for yourself in one of these Bootcamps.

If you want to learn more about why i made this tough decision take a look at this very personal message from me.
