Memorial Day weekend is coming, and with it the start of an amazing summer for you.
I’m sure you’ve all got plans. I’m sure you all have the mindset that it’s going to be a great summer, because summer is the time when people are friendlier and you can meet people.
Have you ever thought about this though: Wherever you are, there you are.
Think about that for a second as you’re listening to today’s podcast.

That’s really true, but the the thing is though with summer is that all the hot chicks come out from hibernation. Of course if you wanna meet them, hit the beach. Just ask them to help you build a giant sandcastle

Is anyone else having trouble playing the audio?
NO the audio is working fine for me.
well i have worked quite a bit on my social skills its the first summer that i will use David Wygants amazing techniques so its gonna be more fun talking to people since they are more open on summer

I have def. learned that there is no shortcut to this. In order to improve we have to take risk daily and learn as much as we can. We’re never too young or old to learn.
I’m thinking about moving to West coast does that mean I will not change as a person or experience a new start?
Lady Gaga: Where are you moving to? I think what David is trying to tell us today is that no matter where you go you will not get rid of the problem unless you deal with it now.

This evening I attended a networking event for artists & creative types. I must have taked with over a dozen people in around three hours. In the past six months in particular, I’ve really improved as far as talking with people, maintaining my composure and staying relaxed. Especially on the listening part… I definately did more listening than talking tonight (some of the listening was out of politeness I’ve gotta say!)
For those who work in customer service/bars, etc… I can understand how you’d want some peace and quiet after talking with people all day! My mind needed a time out and I though it was a good night, I was glad to leave when I did.
I now have a better understanding of what David refers to as far as giving away ones power. Most conversations are on neutral territory… the odd time though you get people who try and intimidate you… or people you simply give your power away to… being aware of these little things feels empowering in itself…
Thanks David for reminding us to make the most of every day.
I am a summer gal – love the beach, the sun …. I just am happier in the sun however these days I do enjoy every day. Right now in Perth, Australia we are coming into winter and that has some special times too.
thanks for the hints re the audio – it did finally work although not so clearly – almost got a bit seasick – it was almost rolling in sound!!!!
