what if you had told a guy that you were 45 and you were really 47 and you told him a couple of months later when you realized he actually might be serious about the relationship. I had this happen to me after he initially lied to me about a couple of things and when I told him he called me a liar and basically never heard from him again. I think the rule of thumb is Not to lie in order to protect yourself regardless of the dysfunction of the other person.

Lol im young but what if a guy you like asumes your a freshmen but your not but you like him so you dont say nothing n it stays like that for a week. but he has a problem being any younger then that but i am the age to be a freshmen … im ashamed so i agreed to saying i was in highschool what know hes gona find out sooner or later ps i am a dumbass

I’m a little confused, because on your Online Dating product you stated that you yourself actually put 39 when you were 47/48 because you said you could date much younger women if you said 39 instead of 47. A change of heart?

Great post Dave ! I’ll share a personal story.Three years ago, I met this man online who was 34. We had coffee together,we both thought we have no chemistry and ended it after coffee.

Three years later, the guy contacts me again, online, asking if I’d be interested to see how things would go with us this time ! Same profile, just one change. His age is now 31 ! I atleast had some respect on this guy, now it was gone !

I will go one step further. Lying, no matter how innocent you feel it is, is never justified.
