Put Down The Memorial Day Beers

It’s Memorial Day. It’s the day everyone is outside having fun, and it’s the first three day weekend of the summer.

How will I remember this Memorial Day? I will remember it as hopefully the last time I am ever stubborn. Tomorrow, I am going to share a very personal blog and story with you and tell you more about that!

A great way to begin this unofficial start to the summer is with setting some goals for yourself . . . and then actually sticking with them. What are your goals for the summer?

Before you know it, summer will have come and gone. It always seems to go so quickly!

So today, let’s write down our goals and hold ourselves accountable. As I always say, if you write it down there’s proof and you’re committed to it.

Enjoy Memorial Day!

My goal is to be talking to even more people than I already am. I talked to a couple of beautiful blondes at a sandwich shop today. I think the tall one’s name was Jessica. And a beautiful brunette named Margaret at Starbucks shortly afterwards. She seems real sweet & friendly. I hope to see her again soon. A good chance of that too since she works there.

    Definitely finding more contacts!!

Going back to online dating, meeting more people (from the experiences I had, I met tonnes of friends, if not a friend I could fuck!), practicing on omegle if I’m bored (I live in a village) and really thats it. Keep pushing on and on and improve!!

Loooking forward to your blog tomorrow

My long term goal is to work on myself in order to have that special someone in my life. But one thing I will not ever do is marry in Springfield Tennessee.

  4. Nick says:

My goals are to drop some weight, and to show how I really am when I talk to people instead of doing what I’ve been doing and scaring the women away. It’s funny you put this up because I fucked up my diet today but I’ll try again. I’ll fuck up here and there but I won’t quit.

  5. Coach Kimberly says:

Tony…great goal and it sounds like you’re on the way to achieving it! What is your next goal after the talking stage:)

  6. K says:

Nick – Good for you! Remember that many things in life are cumulative – like exercising or quitting smoking. Everyone falls off the wagon in one way or another but what really counts is the total effort. Pretty soon the occasional bump won’t matter because you’re too busy enjoying the ride.

    Hi David,

I hope your back will be better very soon. My goals for this summer? To lose some weight (I found this great “Pape diet” which really seems to work), to talk to more people and actually care about them, to quit my job, to be less selfish and ego-centered. Sounds like a long list.

PeteC: What or who is omegle? “Practicing on omegle if I’m bored(I live in a village).”
Also, if you haven’t gotten a haircut since last September, then yeah, I think it’s probably time to get one. You might be scaring the girls away. lol

Nick: Yeah, losing weight is always a good idea if you’ve gained some unwanted pounds as I did and am in the process of losing while walking & working out. And yeah, working on confidently approaching women in a friendly and upbeat way instead of doing what that guy did last weekend at the farmers market where David & Sonja were. Or being what a lot of guys have been(including myself in the past) the weird, creepy, stalker boy.

I’m really happy & impressed by what I saw from Tariq in his last video at Panera Bread. Good job Tariq! :) Watch that video and listen to/watch DW’s recent vids & podcasts where he talks to women on the street. It’s in the Members section. Those are good examples of how to do this stuff.

Kimberly: My next step is to soon move to a newer, better and more presentable apartment. This one is too small and kinda old. Need a new place. Then I can start confidently asking for & getting women’s e-mails & phone #s.

    My goals:

    Taking summer courses
Learn about finance, stocks, investments (david you could help me here :) )
Get better at tennis, tone up
    Be consistent in my academics

Enjoy being in the moment and continue with my positive outgoing side
Do important tasks first, fun later.
