Networks are key!

For the younger generation (sorry David :) social networking sites like Facebook are going to make it really easy for the next generation to create enormous networks.

Everyone I talk to, whether someone I meet in person or online, I add to my Facebook network. This allows me the opportunity to connect with many different people in an efficent manner.

If I have a question about what where is a good bar in NYC? I can ask the question on my page and get a response from 50 plus people.

Its a great tool.. that I wish I had 10 years ago.

I highly recommed everyone take advantage of it.

No man is an island :)

Having good people around you not only makes you accountable for your action but also helps you get energized.

I personally get energized from having different kind of people in my life. By seeing how they live, I want to live more, I want to do more. By talking with them, I get more ideas about what I want to do.

It's just great!

Right on DW! I think this is such a huge part of life! The value of a big network is priceless. I have friends that are 4x4 mechanics, auto electricians, friends with kids, friends with dogs, a couple people i've talked to at clothing stores, jeep dealership, midas brakes, and just by talking with them for awhile, they offer their employee discount and some inside tips if available. It's nice to go places and see familiar faces, and share a recent story for a good laugh. It's a great thing!

When all else fails, GOOGLE is your network for info research. That's the endless network. Like recently in the middle of summer, my a/c control box @ home shut off and i couldn't figure out how to use it again. I googled the make & model of the a/c box and found a forum where people have had the same problem. Pushed 3 buttons (I never ever would've figured out alone) and *ahhhh* cold a/c again.

Networks are a beautiful thing. Thanks for keeping the blogs compelling & intelligent.
Rock on DW!

Personally, I think it's great to have a lot of skilled friends and be an all around well connected person.

First off, it's a just very efficient way to live life. Many successful people I've met have such friends who will happily help them out by doing all sorts of little tasks for them.

Plus, I think that it is indeed an attraction booster for women to see a man who has all sorts of people reacting to him as an authority. Even if that may or may not be the guy's foremost conscious intention in doing so.

All in all, I think everyone has a skill or talent that they can offer their friends and it's great to get a free exchange of values going on within any good harmonious friendship. I myself am usually glad to help out my friends with whatever I can and I definetley expect them to do the same for me. In fact, I see it as a common courtesy of sorts.

I remember when you were there writing this blog David. Very powerful stuff. I kept thinking to myself that a person's network can really save them alot of time and mental effort.
