The only time you are really ever involved in is the PRESENT!!! If we think of the future too much we will become the future and not the NOW. So we pretty much become robots... I think about mine but not all the time. The situations that we make when we are with a girl usually are the opposite of what we had in mind. So if we just expect to have fun and learn new things every day, then we will have no bad days!

This is correct. If you do not honor the present moment, and live in thought, you will not be happy because you are treating the present moment as a means to an end. The only place you can ever be happy is in the present moment, never in your thoughts.

I remember one time I was psyching myself up about an exam I had to do. I was telling myself how difficult it was and that the teacher was going to screw everyone over. Well, at the time of the exam, I had a black out and failed. The following exam, I told myself I can do only what I can do and if the exam is going to be a freakshow, well.....so be it. It made me focus on the present moment and I passed the exam... The present moment will determine the future. All about visualizing positively and go for what you want no matter what. Worry about the future though, then you will get something completely different from what you wanted

This may be the case when one is in a room with a girl who one wants to make progress with, in the middle of a conversation, on holiday with friends etc but is not true for a lot of other stuff - in the modern, complex world, one needs to plan for years in advance if one wants to get to a particular place so having a view to the future is absolutely crucial. Moreover, having a view to the future is also important if a guy wants to get somewhere in terms of gaining qualities that are innately attractive e.g. gaining higher social status through career, financial or educational achievements.
