Sometimes in life, you’ve accumulated so many bad habits, so many frustrations, so many fears, and so many excuses, that sometimes it’s just better to start over.

Your ego always gets in the way of starting over.

It creates obstacles as distractions.

Your ego is amazing.  It will allow you to climb that uphill battle over and over and over again, constantly being frustrated, constantly being annoyed, and constantly failing.

Sometimes it’s good to just wash your hands and start over.

It’s funny, when a lot of guys call me about the boot camps, they always ask me, “What do you want me to do before it starts?”

I always tell them the same thing: “Nothing. I don’t want you reading anything, I don’t want you digesting anything,  I just want you to realize that you’re starting over.

Because what I will do with you is help you start you over.  I’ll give you brand new habits that you will now use for the rest of your life, so you can go out and meet women.”

Starting over is wonderful.

A friend of mine recently lost his business, and the business was faltering for years.  His ego did not allow him to walk away from it, so he kept getting deeper and deeper and deeper into it.

He finally failed miserably.  When he failed, he owed more money to more people and now is going to spend the rest of his life paying people back.

If he just nipped it in the bud, and didn’t let his ego get involved, he could have easily started over with a much cleaner slate.

Your ego can ruin everything.

Look at where you are right now with meeting people.  Check it out.  How are you at meeting women right now?  If you’re not as successful as you’d like to be, stop thinking that you’re going to discover some magic pill to change you.

Everyday, somebody e-mails me and asks me a question, and it always begins with:

If you could just answer this one question, David, my life will change…

No it won’t.  The only way your life will change is by starting over.

It’s a wonderful thing to do.

I’ve done it several times in my life, and every time I do it I get stronger and stronger.

How will you start over today?
