Hey yall and Merry Christmas! Just thought I'd add a little fact to the discussion, christmas is a celebration of the winter solstice and was adopted as a christian holiday when the romans conquered northern europe with their religious nonsense.

God Jul! :)

The most popular male given name in the world is Mohammed, the most popular surname in the world is Zhang. Which planet are you living on MAC? Or perhaps you mean "impact" as in destructive impact, here too, the names Adolph (as in Hitler), Joseph (Stalin), and Mao (Zedong or Tsetung) have had much more destructive impact. Please start living in a world that consists of more than just the space between your ears.

You can say whatever you want, but the fact is that Jesus is the reason for the season, even though he wasn't born on December. Historical records estimate his birthday was sometime in October.

There is no other name that impacts people more than Jesus, therefore it is banned in some places. But like David says, continue to say Merry Christmas, whether you say it with love or just for the sake of saying it. Either way, it will impact many.

Wasn't there an Old Navy add or something a couple years ago that wished people a merry Christmahanukwanzika?

Also, has anybody ever met anyone who actually celebrates Kwanzaa? I had to learn about it in school growing up, but none of the black kids at school celebrated it, and I've never met anyone since who does either.
