Haven't seen her much in the last few years. She's not my main interest, but she's fun & attractive, and we've gotten together for food & music lately. My main lady's going through some stuff that I can't do much about, so she gets space. I'd forgotten how much I used to enjoy hanging out with my old friend. Didn't go looking for this, it just happened. Been doing a similar thing the last few weekends with a friend of 30 years.

My mother always said that if you really want to know how old a woman is, don't look at her face - look at her neck. I think that this former model has simply aged well. Her only problem is thinking that just because Madoff socialized with her over the years that she could trust him with her money without oversight. Sister - I don't think that this is about using people or leading them on. But it is about being open to experiences (and not just the sexual aspect) with people that you might not have given a second look just because they weren't your so-called ideal. Sometimes hanging with people without an overt attraction allows you to discover wonderful things about that person and also about yourself. It's healthy to need space and to be able to do your own thing...it's all about balance. You are walking on thin ice if you suggest that you enjoy someone you're not really into, sexually and perhaps emotionally be involved with someone 'for the weekend'. I think that is misleading and, frankly, self absorbed and just not right. I personally had a guy try to spend the weekend with me, and although there could've been many benefits from it for me personally, including sex, admiration, idolation, etc., I chose not to lead him on and derailed the scenario so he wouldn't be misled.
