Lost About Lost

How was everyones weekend?

Mine was great until I endured 2 hours plus of Lost.

For those of you who know me well I dont indulge in TV much at all and Lost was my last annoying guilty pleasure.

Now the question is to all of you Lost people.
How did you like lasts night final?

Did you feel that it answered questions or did you feel that feeling you get after a first date. You know that feeling of what just happened and did they feel the same way.

Anyway would love to hear your thoughts on last nights final.

  1. Thanks for bringing this up David. I was going to ask the same question on the Forum. I was pretty confused at the end of Lost. They didn’t really answer any questions for me. I still don’t really know about Jacob or the Man in Black or why that women was there gaurding the island to begin with.

I couldn’t figure out when Jack died? The parallel stories were confusing. They were back in LA, but they were still on the island. I must admit I was lost. When they set off the bomb and were all back on the plane, some of them had the same lives as before, but some had different lives. (Jack all of the sudden had a son and Sawyer was a cop, yet Kate was still in FBI custody and Claire was still heading to LA to give up her baby.) I guess we’re not supposed to understand it all.

  2. I think they all died when they set off the nuclear bomb at the end of last season. The alternative reality was some sort of purgatory or in between place after death and before heaven. Fixing everything on the island brought the two realities back together, since the island seems to exist outside of time and space. And the island had to be guarded to keep the smoke monster, or the devil, from finding the light at the center of the island and turning it off, since if he did, it would destroy the island, the only thing holding all evil or hell back from earth.

  3. hi david,
karl here hope you have a great day,
i thought it wasnt the best as it could of been, i was more lost then the characters lol it was like having a plan what you want your date to go like then it gose the opposite lol, they are just draging the story out to much and making it harder to make it a classic ending theres a new program on bravo called white collar about a con artist teaming up with the fbi its one of the best programs iv seen for a good while what you think think about it?

  4. To quote a famous cartoon “He died, she died, everybody died”. Guess there won’t be any followup movies… At least not for 20 years, when they do the big-screen remake! They really failed to answer all the other questions about the alternate reality, like who’s married to Angelina Jolie and did she ever have kids? Did Elvis still die in 1977 or did he turn into a 1980′s New Wave artist? And how could the characters that haven’t died yet be in both places, like Sun who wasn’t on the island when the bomb went off? The only conclusion that makes any sense at all is that everyone died in the Pilot episode when the plane crashed. Everything else was just a dream. Bobby! Is it really you?

  5. i think the writers of lost wanted us to figure it out for ourselves. since there where so many questions maybe they didn’t plan it out really well and ran out of time. They decided to give us a confusing ending so we can think about it for some time and come up with our own answers. i guess that’s what we should’ve expected since the show was so confusing but at the same time if you think about it for a while it makes perfect sense…

  6. What about Micheal’s son, Walter. Why did the others want him so bad?
