I write for The Huffington Post and also blog for them, posting some really intriguing articles about divorce and how to get back into the singles game.

But today they’re the ones writing to me.

One of the editors asked me to talk about the Fresh Air Fund.

So the Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit, is in need of 1,200 host families for this summer.

Host families are volunteers who make their love and home open to a child from New York City, giving them a “fresh air” experience that can change a child’s life forever in only two weeks.

I think we can take this a step farther, though: If you know of anyone even able to host a child this summer, pass this post to them today. Get the word out.

Life is all about giving back.
