You know David, you might as well just come straight out and say you want to talk about the resent political events - i think it's pretty clear that you do ;o)

it's your blog, your rules, so talk about whatever the hell you want!

I was at a house party, and frankly delighted by the results.

Very interesting David...
I'm just waiting for the historic day when the President doesn't have to possess a penis, just balls.

Still feeling pretty lucky (see my previous comment to Get Out and Vote) - But I would feel fine regardless of who won this time because I believe that they are both honorable men. I took the day off from work, voted early, and hung out with CNN for the duration, and then some. It was a good day to be part of a democracy.

It's been a long time since I thought that anyone in power was on the same page with me in the personal integrity department. Lying-ass dogs need not apply - for my vote or for my company on a date. I don't need you to agree with my views - just be honest with yourself and about yourself. Talk YOUR talk and be prepared to walk the walk.

I only have a few problems with lastnights turnout. alot of us voted for Obama on Nov 4th. and the demacrats now control the house, the senate, and the white house with large majorities. not many people remember what it was like when this happened last. Now we can have no excuses. The government can fix everything without a problem. But the biggest problem is the only thing that changed last night was the presidency. but now the house and the senate control the country, because they have a close enough majority to over ride a veto. So now if Obama decides that a plan of action isn't good for the country. thats to bad because his veto is useless. there is no more ballance of power. Obama needs to build some good allies in the senate so he has a little control over the future of this country. You have to remember that the people in charge of congress have allways been there and will run wild if Obama doesn't keep them on a short leash. There will be good changes but alot will be really bad, and Obama needs to be able to stop the bad ones. I hope all the best for my new president, but I am worried about the morons who will try to run wild over him.

yes, have principles in life. Thats not something I really could identify in either of the candidate's speeches too clearly. a purpose and a direction? didn't really see that either.

not to be pessimistic, but we ll see what happens. I think this has been an overly emotional campaign and we re in for some surpises when execution actually occurs.

Rock on man! Excellent topic! I fully agree in the importance of keeping your word. It's all you really have in life, so make it worth it.
Cheers!
