Wygant Fan–great topic for your paper. Actually, 90% of communication is nonverbal so I guess what you say is really not as important as how you say it and look when saying it!…especially in first impressions. Body language and being in tune with emotions are so important in connecting with others. Love to hear more about your work!

Just a word to agree with Will; any chance of using a different format?

It is quite cumbersome that you can’t FF or rewind it. Furthermore, I personally would prefer listening to it on my MP3, which is not an apple product, and I cannot. Perhaps this is intentional so people don’t download and take traffic from your site. In this case it is very understandable. I think though that it is possible for Ipod users to download this and listen to it on the go. Anyway. Thanks for the cast.

Thanks for the advice!
I think I have listened to that podcast once. I will listen to it again.
For my paper I am focusing on how words matter but they don’t say everything. that words count but you have to back it up with body language. And that positive body language is so important. Positive body language displays openness, optimism, and presence. Positive body language allows one to connect well with others… and attract friends.

I love the archives here! They are timeless so you can go back and look at them at any time and the meaning and usefullness is still there.

wygant fan – i think it does count a lot how you say things and how you act. But i am a big believer in that you cannot fake everything. Like confidence, for example. If you radiate insecurity and disbelief, you can try as much as you want and won’t get your body language right.

wow, I can’t believe that this year is almost over! … and so is the decade. So let’s all make it happen over the next few weeks. May we all end the year on a high note.

Also, I have something on my mind and I was wondering if David or Coach Kimberly or anyone else had any input. In Star Wars, did Princess Leah mean what she said to Han Solo? If so, did he say the wrong thing? … he didn’t get the girl after all. Is there something he could have done or could have said?

… oh yeah, I am also writing a paper on Body Language that is due in the morning. I first was gonna write about how it doesn’t matter what you say, only how you come across and how you act. Now I think that you HAVE to get the words right, that you have to say the right thing BUT you have to say it the right way and the do the right thing too…

uh… it’s not there yet, the new podcast. But usually, it comes up a day after wednesday (Philippine time… I get the podcast on fridays)
