God’s Waiting Room
I want to share a story with you that’s really interesting. When my step-grandfather was alive, he used to live in Fort Lauderdale. He used to say to me all the time, “The one thing I don’t like about Florida or Arizona is that so many people come down here to die.”

I looked at him and said, “What do you mean? Don’t they come down here to retire?” He said,”No, they come down here to die. This place is like God’s waiting room. So many people have just given up on life that they come here to just exist.”
You know, it’s interesting. The other day I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, and I realized that so many people are so afraid to unwrap the gift of life. Life is an amazing gift. People are just afraid to unwrap it.
People always say things like these:
“I’m going to go to Italy in ten years.”
“I want a family in seventeen years.”
“I’m going to go see my brother in six months.”
“I’m going to go talk to that woman in three months.”
“I’m going to go to the beach as soon as I lose ten pounds.”
“I’m going to go skiing this winter, as long as my boss allows me to do it.”
So many of you don’t wake up every single day and say to yourself, “This is a gift.” So many of you don’t look at life as a gift.
Life is an amazing gift. It’s a gift that you need to unwrap every single day.
So many people are always looking for external things — circumstances and validation from other people. So many people are looking for the magic pill.
There is something that can help you overcome whatever fear you might have or whatever excuses you may have in life. In today’s podcast, I will go over how life is a gift and how you can unwrap it.
I’m not going to say any more in the blog . . . you have to listen to the podcast to learn the rest. It may be the most important podcast you’ll ever listen to in your entire life. Enjoy it!

man that was an amazing podcast today, now i am really motivated to get my butt of this office chair!!!
would coulda shoulda never happens, great blog today.
I am getting better at this becoming more action oriented however from time to time i get in the rut.
Clint-
David’s word are very motivational are you really going to get your butt out there?
you bet Jeff!
another thing i have noticed is that i say soulda coulda and woulda way too many times, and things never happen that way.
i personally have to step it up like a man!
Clint-
I like what you had to say, it’s crucial have flow of action instead of thinking about it way too many times or getting in your head.
CJ- how did you become really good at this or more action oriented even when the times are tough?
Clint-
Like I said earlier, I have learned the fundamentals of dating, then had to really motivate myself go out and socialize with people. Ups and down are part of the success, but you must continue to push yourself, set yourself goals and focus on the positive results, courage, giving, love, conversation, abundance to move forward.
You can’t conquer the world all in one day, you must learn to crawl before you can begin to walk.
That was an awesome podcast David. Everybody’s just procrastinating life and forgets to live in the moment. Once this moment’s gone, it’s gone. We should never forget that. I think you are really a good example of a person that lives this concept, David.
Hearing your stories how you became a coach is very motivating for me.
One thing you said that really hits home is that, i focus too much on the negativity instead of courage, and positive energy.
Thank you:)
I agree with what you had to say Markus life is way too short, its sad how much we squander time away from procrastinating.
That’s why I really enjoy David’s blog, its deep and no bullshit like other pickup guru!!!!!!!!
Markus-
your name sounds European are you?
very welcome Clint!
now that you are aware of this, you have the power to choose to take action or just continue to procrastinate.
David-
Its funny to hear that people still complain after gettign all this free info that podcast is money, you could def. sell this part of the excuse product.
And also want to comment, right now really enjoying listening to your self-love audio.
I choose to get out and live fully each and every day.
Dr. Who-
when you finish with self-love i would love to hear a review from you about it.
sure do Clint:)
You seriously want us to add you on facebook? I thought you were annoyed so many random people add you. Well, I have a blog on my progression with personal relationship with myself and nameless others.
I’m going to re-listen to the women’s mastery series. =)
Nice podcasts! =)
Life, don’t waste it. Seize it!
Reminds me of a song called “Live like you were dying.”

Hi David, great podcast today. This is a major theme, be in the moment!!! I have to say, you have great marketing sense. The beauty of it is even if you don’t ask somebody to check out your products, when somebody really takes the time to listen to you, they will naturally want to hear more from you. Thanx David.

Hi David,
I’ve been away for a little while but had to comment on this one.
You are talking about all that “future” thinking, and one thing I’ve really noticed lately … when I feel anxiety in my body, it’s usually because I’ve fallen into “future thinking.”
Even if it’s excitement about the future, it still often creates a bit of anxiety. And then if I bring my attention back to my hazelnut cappuccino that’s sitting in front of me HERE NOW, the anxiety subsides.
Thanks for the inspiration.
xoxo,
Erika
GREAT podcast!! Absolutely spot on. Life is a great gift, more than we will ever ever know. What a beautiful thought. “Wake up every morning and open the gift of life!” That is what I call a perfect message
Go, preacher Dave!
As Miles Davis said: “I’m always thinking about creating. My future starts when I wake up every morning . . . Every day I find something creative to do with my life.”
Great Podcast David! I am grateful to listen to all of your podcasts and I enjoy and appreciate everything you do for all us guys! I will live my life to the very fullest with this inspiration I’ve just heard from the podcast. I am indeed on facebook as well! http://www.facebook.com/cpintado1 if you’re interested in checking it out! Thanks again and best of luck! Take care!
Chris
Damnit, that was one fine podcast David. You are so genuine and truly believe in yourself and what you’re teaching. And it’s great.
I like the new angle you are taking on focusing on chaging lives as a “whole”, rather than just narrowing it down to one element like women and negating all the rest.
If you wake up every morning with facination of the day ahead, being willing to explore the unknown and not let fear hinder you from what you want to acheive, then life is something to be embraced, just like you have proven to us with your teachings.
OMG! I even cry
its so moving and inspiring!
thank you so much!
You are so right. You reminded me of something my father once taught me: “Hapiness is a daily decision.”
love attracts love
happiness attracts happiness
gratitude attracts gratitude
I’m guilty of this. But I open that gift daily, getting outside of my comfort zone. Can’t wait to look back a year from now. Glad to call you a friend! Connect with everyone! We all need downtime, I write and I use that downtime to reflect and document my adventure. The journey of life. I’m looking for more people to attend my funeral one day when I am 90 and bring me flowers and smile about how I lived a great life. Thanks David.
