How very sad that there are so many people who actually believe that George Carlin would ever write such optimistic, bland tripe.

Have you people ever actually listened to any of his actual work?

It's funny... I never cared about age.

I mean... I like being the age that I am... but I asked myself one day: if I was to live forever while retaining the knowledge and wisdom I've accumulated until now, which age would I want to stay at?

There was a time when I thought 15 would be a great age to stay at... just because of the innocence and the possibility of doing anything... then I thought about being 25 again... just because I liked being an adult... and I felt it was just right... but now I'm 28... and I like who I am now... more mature, more focused, more confident...

And that's what I realized something, it doesn't matter what age I'd be, I'll like it because it's different.

Speaking of birthdays and turning 21, my girl(wishful thinking now)Mary turned 21 just a couple weeks ago. I wanted to celebrate the fact that she's now legal. YESSSSS!!!! And she just got back from Spring Break; man that 10+ days without seeing her was a bummer! But now she's back and Spring and warm weather and skin revealing clothing is just around the corner! I love Spring!! :)

Where did time go I am now 49 years old. I look back on it and say what a life and keep living each day as it comes to me. When I was in high school I wished I would turn 18 years old now I look at children that wished they were out of high school and say you are going to miss this. Like one woman said I wished my children were grown and I said don't wish that for you are going to miss them being little when they turn an age you will get older. Then next thing you know they are married and calling you and saying my marriage is not working out and etc. Did you know that the gray hairs that I have did not come naturally I earned everyone this is what I tell my daughters. Yes I sure do miss it being young but one thing I am thankful for that my natural clock still gets me up.

lol, that's funny!

It's weird, but when I was 20 I couldn't wait until I'd turn 21 so I could get into bars.

But then, when I actually DID turn 21, I wished I was 20 again.

Go figure...
