What an interesting topic.

I recently went on three dates with a guy and we had rolled around a bit on the last date, and then he waited 9 days before he sent me a "hi - what's new?" text. I was so furious, i almost did not respond at all because what he was showing me was he was either clueless or not interested. I already did not u/s why three dates and no follow up at all.

We had only been on three dates, but this is a date, not a friend. I waited two days to respond to center myself and get my other life stuff done. And while I was nice in my response, I did not engage him like I normally do. I was friendly, answered his question and told him I hoped all was well with him. To me this was neutral and he can do what he wants with that - either step up or not.

What was I supposed to do? How do you handle this this in the future? Was waiting appropriate? In my experience, lukewarm men do not get more excited. Why do men do this, and what do they expect from a woman?

Thanks for your help - and just bought a used infiniti - i agree on the depreciation!

In real estate they say that the first offer is the best offer.
probably the same in anything else.
they guys you low balled shoulda followed up. if they had better offers for the car then they woulda been sold already. lol

maybe you can start a blog about teaching car dealers how to negotiate. lol

Kevin
I always let someone else pay the depreciation!!
Bought a 2 year old 525 with 15000 miles for half of what it cost new 2 years ago!
As for the sales tax I agree it's ugly but nothing you can do unless you live oregon!

I won't ever buy a new car...too much $$$ involved between the sales tax, insurance and payments. Not worth it.

Used BMW? Perfect for learning how to drift. I hope to see you on the track making a lot of noise, David.

I would imagine that David is a busy man, however he did take the time to respond to my unsolicited request for advice. I am patient and do not expect responses instantly. A few days time-frame is more than reasonable.

David is right!

As a businessman I can attest to this. Whether interacting with my fanbase or speaking to friends/dates/family, I try to remember the golden rule.

Treat others as you wish to be treated and do not expect anything back.

Slava

I have been traveling on and off and asked Adam to set up a meeting over skype after you attended the London event.

Did he not pass on my message?

I am back next week let's reconnect

I recently communicated with David regarding a minor matter and he followed up promptly. I'm sure David is a busy man so I fully expected to wait another day or two for a response. My communication with David was short and to the point and so was his. In my experience David is true to his word with regard to following up.
