Go find a professional musician and learn from them. At least find a qualified person if your money's leaking out of your wallets too fast. It is never too late. I am a musician musician myself and I started with the violin, then I progressed to pick up piano, guitar and started singing and composing. I wouldn't say I was musically talented, but after I received education in music I could just UNDERSTAND music and almost directly feel what the composer was trying to convey. However, neither my height (5'8") nor my athleticism (not the greatest athlete out there to say the least :) allowed me to get to the pros. Wish I had a bit of NADAL-ness (what an animal :) to have got to the next level. Have you ever been in a comedy club and the comedian is so totally "on" to the point where the entire room is belly laughing and no matter what the comedian says it envokes even more laughter ?
