Here is the thing I found about these “magic tricks”. Pickup lines and routines can be used for fun, for your own entertainment. Problems starts when you become outcome oriented with this stuff. Next thing you know you get stuck in your head and it SUCKS.

Yesterday at my fitnessclub however, I talked to this girl for a while and asked her if she believed in mind reading. She said yes. I told her to pick a number between one and ten. Here comes the funny part.

She wanted a second shot. I told her you only get one. She immediately said: “If you can read my mind once, you can do it again”. She is a very sharp person.
If you are going to use something you better back it up….lol

After this she asked me if I was spiritual. So is she. We talked for a while. Everytime I walked away she would come back to talk some more to me. I defenetly learned some new stuff from her.

David, you were doing great until you cited Hugh Grant as an example.

Never use the words ‘Hugh Grant’ in a blog post unless you are trying to illustrate what NOT to do. And not only because he blew off Liz Hurley for that ugly-as-sin hooker on Sunset Blvd. some years back. That just exemplifies how clueless he is.

Forget the wow affect jugeling your balls in front of a woman. You do that later in bed. Then she might go wow. the first 30 sec is most important. Then IF you get past that you got to make her laugh or find something in real like David said.

I cannot stand when guys approach me with this bullshit. It’s irritating and it’s hard to believe that anyone would respond positively to this. David is right. We like to connect with someone on a personal/emotional level. You don’t need a cheesy gimick to talk to us. Be yourself!

I used to carry around a Rubik’s Cube everywhere I went because I used it as a crutch. People would actually start conversations with me, and in my ignorant state of mind I thought things would actually progress from there without ANY additional input or effort on my part. Thankfully I’ve come to realize that it is far more effective to be fun, sociable, real, and interesting than to use gimmicks or tricks. For instance, I’ve started learning how to read palms, but only to use later on in conversations when I am already developing rapport with the person, and only as a tool to AUGMENT the connection (as opposed to being the basis of it).
